Had a great time at Dreams Onyx. Our concierge, Josue was the best!! Took care of us from the moment we arrived until we left!! Very personable and friendly and on top of everything! The pools and water park were great. The lazy river need more current to be real fun. The beach was awesome. The water is not calm, there are waves and inevitable seaweed but we enjoyed it!! The buffet was good, a lot of variety for everyone. Only tried the hibachi restaurant which was excellent. The preferred club lunch was excellent. Overall, we had an excellent time!

Exceptional service.
Excellent service by all personnel. Edwin the beach waiter, his service was exceptional. Always happy and attentive. The beach very good. Everyone gave ua good service. Definitely I will be back.

The buffet restaurant was excellent with great variety but needs to remove a lot of the sugary items The fantastic lady Cloudia on the fresh juice bar in the mornings was incredible and set us up for the day

Overall Great Experience
We stayed at Dreams Onyx last week and had an amazing trip. Our room was a Preferred Club swim out in Building 6, and the location honestly could not have been more perfect. We were steps from the Preferred pool bar, close to the beach, and still within an easy walk to the main pool. Total win. The bartenders made the stay even better. Andy took such great care of us the first few days that my husband actually went to track him down at his other bar just to say hi. Castillo was just as awesome the last few days. Both of them were kind, attentive, and just fun to be around. The beach was beautiful and really well maintained. Plenty of shady spots, plenty of sunny ones, and the sound of the waves rolling in all day and night was exactly what we needed. Our girls, 11 and 16, were obsessed with the ice cream bar, and I think I might have loved the burger spot even more than they loved the ice cream. The buffet wasn’t our favorite, but there were always enough options for us to find something for breakfast or a quick dinner when we needed it. Breakfast was made a lot better thanks to our special handshake with Juan, who somehow made every morning feel fun. We even got to see him again at Capers during dinner, which was a nice bonus. Capers and Bluewater were both fantastic for dinner. The food and service at each were great. We also did the hibachi experience at Spice. It was a lot of fun and the food was surprisingly good for resort hibachi. And I have to call out Josue, our butler. He checked in regularly and helped us with anything we needed, always with a smile. I’m not someone who loves asking for favors, but he made it easy and made us feel right at home.
