    Would book again!

    This was first trip to Dominican Republic and so glad I picked this place. Very nice room just steps from the pool, just walk a little more and you are on the private beach. Such a relaxing trip for our anniversary. The food was amazing, can't say enough about the great staff. I would rebook in a minute.

    7 days in paradise

    Exceeded all expectations, the setting, pools, layouts, rooms, beach were all stunning. The staff were friendly and amazing. We ate at the a la carte restaurants which were fab especially Noor and Sakura, the cooking experience there was great. Rooms kitted out with everything you would need on holiday. All In all 5 stat vacation, already looking at coming back next year.

    22 Year Anniversary Get away

    This property had the potential to be a 5 out of 5 for us. There were a few glaring issues that made us rate it a 4 out of 5. First of all, the property is beautiful. The beach is the best we have seen in the DR. The water is clear, calm, and all but free of sea weed. The pools are well kept and clean, some of the better that we have had. We booked through Liberty Travel. We booked an Enclave, King bed swim up room. At the time of booking, I was a Diamond Hilton Member as well. Liberty Travel has My Time benefits through this property, and they seemed to know nothing about My Time and mentioned nothing about it to us even though we pointed it out to them. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a cool towel and drink. We were taken to the Enclave lounge for check-in. We were given an Enclave, two queen bed, swim up room. We explained to them we paid for a King swim up room. We spent 4 days out of 8 trying to resolve that issue, but it never was. I was told we would be getting 40k Hilton points for our trouble, but that has not happened yet. We were not shown to our room or given a tour of the property. This was our first time there. We had no idea where things were. We were given a key and said your room is in building 2. After being there for 20 minutes, they did sit us down to discuss their time share option. Be prepared for that after traveling all day. We never received our welcome gift (wine and cheese) till day 7, I had to ask for it numerous times. On day 7, they finally put our anniversary banner on our door as well. The food is ok. If you are a foodie, this is not your location. In the adult buffet, Dani was a rock star. Always smiled, he always took incredible care of us. The drinks are some of the best we have had. Ernesto in the adult main and adult Enclave bar, made incredible drinks, look for him! At the adult Enclave swim up bar look for Mildred and Olga, these 2 ladies are incredible, they will take such good care of you. Because of Dani, Ernesto, Mildred and Olgo we gave this result a 4. These 4 team members made our trip, without them it would of been a 3. Because we booked through Liberty Travel, we will not receive any Hilton points for our stay. You must book with them directly. We found that out upon checkout, and we're very disappointed. We talked to a number of people that checked in after us that were upgraded to the class of room were paid for. It seemed to be a game to them, and we were invisible. Please keep in mind that we travel 3 to 4 times a year. Some of our favorite properties had rough starts that were addressed and fixed within a day of arrival except for this place. Thank you Room 2150

    Amazing visit, best staff!

    Overall our stay at Hilton La Romana was more than pleasant. Special thanks to David Santana and Maria Constanzo at the Caoba Breakfast, who took care of us every morning with coffee, tea and a smile. Also thank you to Veronica, Rosaury and Elizabeth from the Aroma Café at the adults only lobby. They are so friendly every single time. Thank you ladies. We also want to thank Wascar who served us at Chinola, he was also very welcoming and explained the menu well and even gave some tips. And last but not least the amazing team at the Sakura restaurant. Kevin Guzman, Henry, Ana Morales and Onelis. You made our holiday unforgettable and the food and service were outstanding. Henry, your sushi is amazing and Kevin (aka Chris Rock) thank you for your kindness and attention to detail. We will never forget all of these amazing people. The beach was amazing. The hotel has a lot of good food and drinks. So much choice and all so tasty and well prepared. The room is also very clean, although the airconditioning can’t go very low and it was sometimes too hot for me. There is also beautiful wildlife, pelicans taking a dive for fish was so funny and cute. The sea is very blue and easy to swim in. The Michael Jackson show and Retro show were also very fun and definitely worth staying up for with a jet lag of 6 hours. The music at the infinity pool was mostly too loud, and a big minus is there was no bachata music. Missed some nice and quiet relaxation to read my book. Overall a good hotel and the staff really makes it special. All the best to everyone and greetings from The Netherlands!

    Resort and Staff are amazing

    What an Amazing place! Victor was an amazing person with a great personality. Anything you need victor is the man for the job! The pool is perfect the swim up up bar is awesome. The food is excellent. There is always something to do and all of the staff is so nice.
