Overall the hotel still seems to be getting their feet under them as they open the new resort. However, the staff at Dreams Estrella goes out of their way to make your vacation outstanding. Jordan on the entertainment staff was amazing and went out of his way to improve our stay. Erik at the Barracuda was amazing and was so informative on the Mazatlán area along with his knowledge of drinks. Manuel and Angel at the Desires were so much fun and always had a smile on their faces. Edgar at Barefoot grill went of his way to help my kids out at every meal. Dreams Estrella really needs to improve its nightly entertainment. Other than karaoke night the other entertainment needs improvements in quality and variety. My other recommendations would include a menu at the Barefoot grill, longer hours at Desires, and please please get more locations with bottled water.

Nov 29, 2024Unexpected medical issue could have ruined my family vacation but thanks to the excellent service was able to enjoy it!
A huge shout out to Thania in concierge. While traveling I had a medical issue arise and she not only made me feel calm and comfortable, she was key in getting the medicine needed delivered to the resort so I didn't have to worry. Great service!

Nice vacation - Have had better!
Resort is new so most things are nice & clean. The hot tub and pool temperatures were on the cool side. Even though requested a certain canned beverage, not always available (almost had to beg them to stock at the preferred bar). There is a walk way over water that is very hazardous and a man tripped and was taken out by ambulance with critical injuries. The slide was being worked on for several days while there. The Spa was nice (water cool) and Room service food were excellent. Only ate at the Portofino one day for dinner and it was good. Ate at the Oceana once for lunch and it was very good. The Barefoot grill food was good as well as the Omelets at the World Cafe. Jordon with entertainment was great (water aerobics and blackjack). Abel, Oscar and Santiago at the Preferred Pool were amazing and never let our glasses get empty! The Preferred lounge was nice and accommodating. We will probably not return to this area due to the water is not adequate for swimming and it is far from the city (markets, shopping, etc). The store on site is pathetic. They still have lots to finish up with exposed wiring, lighting, finishing up rooms, etc. If you just want to relax with no excursions - this is for you!

Great time at dreams!
Great time at dreams. Food was terrific. Rooms clean and beautiful. Restaurants offered different cuisines, All were delicious. Rooms all faced the ocean and had balconies. Bed were comfortable and rooms spacious. I’d definitely go back. Enjoyed the cerviche cooking lessons .Josue and Oscar were the best great poolside service and Joel for the entertainment and specially the Spanish lessons!

Amazing
I enjoyed everything about this resort and especially the core zone I had so much fun everybody should go here if they want a good vacation trip would definitely come again the workers are so nice the food is amazing one of my favorite resorts Now
