Dreams Bahia Mita February 2025
We stayed here from February 7- February 14 2025. The hotel, the service, the food, and the amenities all surpassed our expectations. The fitness center is the nicest one Iv seen at dreams/secret property. Shoutout to Lupita at the preferred bar, she can make the best drinks and conversations with her were amazing and Alexander at the preferred check in, he made our experience that much better after hooking up With vip access after finding out I was getting proposed to (my fiancé had informed him without me knowing). The room was a preferred panoramic junior king room with a plunge pool. We stayed in room 2504 and the views of the sunset from the plunge pool every night were amazing. We have rated Bahia Mita the best resort for food options and quality compared the to the last few resort we have stayed at recently. This was our first time in the PV area. We had previously been to Playa del Carmen and Cancún in the past. And we are confident to say we will be returning to PV from now on. From the hotel swim up pools you can see the whales breaching, which is amazing for someone who doesn’t want to get on a boat to see them. (We did go during peek whale season) The food was amazing. The buffet has so many variety to pick from. This was the first time I saw such a selection on fruit, they had the regular expected fruit selection and exotic selections like kiwis, passion fruit, and pomegranates. The tacos for lunch had ample selection and the service was quick and always fresh. My partner said the sushi, on the 6th floor, was the best sushi he’s had on an AI ever. Our favourite al cart restaurant was Bordeaux. The Escargot and scallops are a must try appetizer. We went twice and both times ordered the beef Wellington and the beef bourgignone (switching so we can each try them once) and both times ordered the grand marnier soufflé as dessert. Highly suggest visiting at least once on your stay. The hotel is about a 45 min car ride to the malacom area. Keep this in mind if your like us and like to spend 30-40% of your time exploring. Cabs are about $75 CAD one way oppose to Ubers about $45 CAD. Skip panchos and go straight to pepes tacos. When arriving we were impatient and did not want to take the shuttle in so we crossed the bridge at the airport and took a cab in. This bought us more time on the resort on our first day as Bahia Mita is far out and we would have been the last to be dropped off. When we spoke to other we had seen waiting for the shuttle they didn’t get in until past 8pm to there rooms compared to 4pm when we were in our rooms. In our opinion if you can afford it pay to get in privately or a cab (cabs are cheaper across the bridge) and take the provided shuttle back to the airport on your way home.

Fabulous resort with wonderful staff.
Excellent resort about 45 minutes from the PVR Airport. Quick check in. No wait for the room and these rooms are beautiful! This resort is quite big but once you get your head around where the main restaurants are it’s pretty easy to get around. Fun around the pools. Say hi to Paco! Lots of choices for food, coffee and snacks. Small beach but you can walk to another beach both ways. Went into Busceras via cab 29USD 20 min drive. Great walk around town. Visit Cuai Rumbo on Calle Hidalgo in Buceras for a snack of something healthy. Lovely people.

Unlimited Vacation Club seems to be a scam
We have stayed here 3 times and absolutely loved it. We wanted to take our kids back so after a long discussion and many questions we signed up for the Unlimited Vacation Club. We were promised that we would be able to book our future trips with low rates and many benefits. They would not let us book our next trip right away, and now that we are back to the US we cannot get anyone to honor those rates. We took pictures of all the notes and they will not honor the notes. Our rep Macarrio was wonderful and we trusted him, and now he will not help us with what we were promised. We intended to give Hyatt our business for many future trips and it seems as if we were scammed.

Would return tomorrow if I could
We spent 5 days (not nearly enough) in February. I was worried from some of the negative reviews I had read… but let me say this; we have been to MANY all inclusive resorts; Punta Cana, Jamaica, Cuba and Mexico and this EXCEEDED our expectations. Cons: The beach. You know that going there that the beach isn’t great, ocean not really swimable. So you can’t be surprised. Nightly entertainment: Very quiet at night. But we went to bed early so it didn’t matter to us much. THATS IT FOR CONS!!! Pros: By far the best food I’ve ever had at an all inclusive. Resort is stunning, new, clean. Most resorts I’ve been to I’ve had to wake up before dawn and get down to the beach / pool for chairs. You could wake up at noon here and there would be plenty of spots. Towels- endless supply. No reservations at restaurants. We never waited. Never. Whales- we saw whales everyday all day from our lounge chairs by the pool So many restaurant options To note: yes the elevators are annoying. Often doesn’t make much sense, however, we figured it out after a day Yes lots of walking. It’s a big resort. Probably not best for people with mobility issues. If you’re worried DONT BE. I would go back in a heart beat. I’ve been to many all inclusives and this one is by far in my top 3.
