Feb 19, 2026Roaches in the hotel room.
We stayed at the Birdie I building in the 2000s block of rooms. The day we checked in we found a small dead roach on the bathroom floor. I figured not really a big issue and it was dead. Two days later we found a live roach in the shower. I killed it and housekeeping removed it. Three days later at 10:30pm my son was awoken by the sound of a very large roach falling off the the wall onto a table. We called front desk and they moved our room. I tried to speak to a manager but wasn't connected with one for two days. They said they don't have a manager around on Sundays and the next day was Presidents day. No one was very concerned or eager to help us. When I finally did speak to a manager she wasn't very helpful either and the call got disconnected or she hung up, and never called me back. Then on our second to last day the water stopped working. It wouldn't come out of any faucet or the shower for a few hours. Heard later on they were doing construction and the water was shut off everywhere. Between the roaches and no water I would recommend staying somewhere else. I know a lot of people love this place, and maybe we had an unusual experience, but I wouldn't chance it again. Googled it when we got home and found other people have had the same experience and complaints dating back to 2016 due to flood damage in the buildings we were in. Lots of hotel choices in Aruba, I'd say pick a different one.

This place is home away from home. The golf is great, the staff is great, the Beach is a total disaster. They let people come from all over the place and there is no room for US!! This goes to my title of NO PARKING!! If you don't allow parking on the street, this would not be as mobbed. there are plenty of beaches or condo and Cruisers everywhere else!!

If you are a golfer DO NOT play here it was the worse golf course I have played in my entire life. No driving range no towels to keep your hands dry. No sand to fix divots I guess the put it all on the greens. Played well but it’s a rip off.

The AC didn't work, the ice maker didn't work, the unit was rundown. Called Divi headquarters in the US during my stay, they reassured me it would be taken care of, nothing happen. Once back home emailed customer service, no reply.. very disappointed this stay
