Jan 19, 2026Great Resort, Needs a Front Desk Staff Overhaul
The positives - beautiful pool, ocean front, very nice property and great restaurant and bar staff. Concierge is excellent - helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. Towel shack people and activities folks are great! The negatives - the front desk staff - something is always incorrect and the front desk staff seems like they could care less about broken items in room, problems with check-in or check-out, etc. Most do not understand customer service at all with a few exceptions. It starts at the top, management is no where to be found.

Just spent a week at my Besties timeshare at the Divi Phoenix. As always, it was a delight! Each employee you encounter greets you with a smile and a cheerful spirit. It is evident that they truly enjoy their jobs. As we began each day we were greeted by Joel, Ariel & Julio setting up our chairs , eager to help with that or anything else we may need - service with a smile at palapa #99! The folks at the towel hut were always smiling and ready to assist. Food and drink service employees were skilled and helpful and again service with a smile, especially Chris in the Deli. The few times I did encounter housekeeping, they couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating. As we were sadly leaving after our week stay, the desk and lobby employees were most helpful in tagging our luggage so we could go have breakfast before leaving for our flight home. Already can’t wait for next year!!!

Excellent
Only place I have stayed in when visiting Aruba. Excellent location! Great beach. Accommodation is excellent. Sandra with the towels,Julio with your bed.charolette at concierge makes for a fabulous time!!! John Boston

Divi is the best! We love all the employees, lucky jean paul at the towel stand is great. They are all great! 10/10 hotel & stay.

Aruba Dream
Amazing first visit to Aruba, with the good fortune to stay at the Divi Phoenix! Check in was smooth and quick. Christianne in the deli was pleasant, and made her sandwiches “with love!” The beach team of Joel, Julio and Ariel were ready to help with chairs, greeted us with smiles every day and set the tone of happiness for the day! Although I don’t know their names, the waitresses in the Pure Beach were excellent and Oscar in Pure Ocean helped make our dinner extra enjoyable! Everyone here was polite and genuinely friendly and helpful! I hope to return!
