Fantastic hotel in great location
Stayed for two weeks in August as a family of 4 travelling from the UK, with children aged 12 and 9. After a long day in the parks the hotel is very welcoming, with its fantastic atrium. We stayed in a water view tower room, which I highly recommend paying the extra for. We could see Expedition Everest and the fireworks in Magic Kingdom from the room. The hotel has a great range of restaurants and a roof top bar with excellent views across Disneyworld and a great view of the Epcot Ball. A great location for us, not very far from any of the main parks and about 30 minutes drive to go to universal. We booked Universal’s Hard Rock Hotel for a week during our stay, but only stayed two nights and came back to Coronado springs! The rooms were extremely well kept with two large queen beds and a large bathroom, with a huge walk in shower and his and hers sinks. I liked that the hotel was super clean and always smelt amazing. As this is also the convention centre hotel, the Disney theming is low key, but our kids are older so we like this. There are still characters visiting the hotel though and you still get that fantastic Disney welcome off all the team, who were super helpful and lovely. Great pool with a slide and didn’t feel too busy on the afternoon we used it. Parking is plentiful and close to the Tower. Would definitely return if we go to Florida again. We preferred it to Port Orleans Riverside as the rooms were nicer. I think this is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in.

Chronos Club level - What you need to know
What you really need to know about this hotel’s Chronos club level. - it’s a moderate hotel with a deluxe feel and one of the best club level facilities around for what you pay - our in-laws came this time and they literally loved it and wouldn’t stay without it - shout out to Lisa and the staff who are literally amazing and so accommodating especially for my son. The ordered in food especially for him to eat !! - the breakfast is labelled as continental but you get a hot offering each morning Inc alternating sausage / bacon / egg etc - coffee is great - all you can drink Inc the wine and beer offerings. The wine was surprisingly good and we drank a lot - take what you want from the lounge and take want you want into it, they are really flexible and it really makes you feel comfortable - at times you can skip meals based on the different snacks alone provided throughout the day - dessert time at 20-00pm was a must for the kids and cookies etc Evening about it just made our holiday special and we loved it ! )like really loved it ! Oh and they upgraded our room to a view for free that we could see the magic kingdom fireworks every night too !!

Disney really sells the magic.
The thing that greeted us on the way in was how quickly and efficiently they were dealing with the crowd of people they were checking in. I've waited longer and chain hotels with only one guest in front of us and this was at least 8 families. Huge crowd of people, we were checked in in 10 minutes from the time we walked in to the time we could head to the room. The room ready for us and the TV screen even congratulated us on our wedding anniversary. That little touch made it that much more special. The beds are insanely comfortable and the pillows actually have some structure. I don't like the current trend of hotels with beds as hard a slab of concrete and big fluffy pillows that collapse into something with less support than a folded t-shirt when you put your head on them. This was nice. Firm enough for support, soft enough to be comfy, and good pillows that do their job. There were no baggage carts in our area so we called the front desk. Our building could not fit a baggage cart so they sent a person with a furniture dolly and he helped us get our gear from the car to the room with a smile, cheerful conversation, and just a "Let's make this magical" attitude. The pools are nice, the hot tub is a godsend after a day of force-marching ourselves through the parks all day, Even the one that's specifically for our building area is at the perfect temp after a day of heat and humidity. Still feels weird to be doing that when it's almost November but there it is. All in all, this is a very pleasant experience.

Great Disney Resort
We stayed at Coronado Springs for 7 days with our family of 4. We stayed in the tower, two queen room. We had a view toward Hollywood Studios and could see fireworks at night. The hotel is gorgeous. The grounds are meticulously kept. It is massive. Be prepared to get your steps in! The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. The bathrooms are beautiful as well. Housekeeping did a wonderful job throughout the week. There is laundry on the 3rd floor in the event you need it. The machines run via scanning a QR code with your phone. There is a vending machine with laundry soap as well. There are bars, cafes, restaurants, sports bar, arcade, lounges, a shop, ATM, etc. Our kids loved the pool, Mayan temple, arcade and water slide. I wish we had booked an extra day simply to get more time at the resort. They barely got to enjoy it! We didn’t get to eat dinner at the hotel either, just not enough time, but heard wonderful things about the food. We have stayed at other resorts on property and I must say I really loved this one and would happily return. I had one odd (not even unpleasant) experience with a staff member. I asked about laundry services (as some resorts we have been to offer an actual full service laundry where the cleaned items are returned to your room) and the woman looked at me like I was insane. On another occasion I asked (ironically this same woman) about an envelope to leave a tip for housekeeping and a note thanking them. She gave me the same look and said “if you leave money out they will know it’s for them.” It was mid week and I thought…perhaps …they wouldn’t just pick up random cash left in a guests room. On check out day I did leave a final tip plainly on the dresser. All in all a great stay and we would definitely stay again!

Diasppointed
I rarely write a negative review about a property but comments from travelers are one way future visitors can judge a resort. We booked our stay in July for an October visit. In August we realized I would have to be using a scooter, so we called to inquire about room location and upgrade. My niece made the reservation but had the call on speaker. The agent said to be on first floor we would have to upgrade. When we inquired about that he said he couldn’t do it but would make a note. We were happy to pay. Why it couldn’t be done was not fully explained, I.e.already fully booked. I travel a lot and have gotten upgrades many times. We get to the hotel and my niece asks the reservation agent about our prior request. He said he didn’t know anything about it and could not assist. She spoke with two other agents and they were not much help. We inquired about help with luggage and were told it was 45 minute wait. Our room was not ready so we left our bags at Bell Service. We went to Magic Kingdom and when we returned around 10, still long wait for service. We are four women All 50 and over…I’m 81. No help. We trekked a very long way to our 2nd floor room. One set of elevators per building and a few ramps, mostly stairs to elevators. I’m sure they are ADA compliant but it seems barely. The elevator was small and has a difficult turn. And you have to be situated right in front of the door, hit the button and hurry in. We had to purchase a suitcase from Amazon, one broke, and we got three different answers on how to retrieve package, Most photos show the Tower so don’t be fooled and many 5* reviews were from people who stayed in Tower. Coronado is supposed to be level up from All Star. It is not. Too spread out and customer Service is lacking in many ways. We purchased refillable cups and it would be nice if the machines were scattered around the Casitas. I know things are costly, but $5.50 for water or soda in vending. Would I stay there again? No. Rooms are okay but too spread out and you are basically on your own to find your room and get your luggage there. Sorry Disney, you need to do better.
