From first to last an amazing hotel offering a family welcome to each and every guest!

It is so difficult to write anything 'new' about the Coconut Court Beach Hotel; however having stayed at 5 star chains like The Melia our holiday easily matched their standards in terms of friendliness, staff responses, cleanliness and all round satisfaction. OK, so it does not have the opulence and luxury of such chain hotels like The Melia, but CC offers something more - a 'Vision' of care and commitment to each and every guest who joins them. That is clear from the huge number of returnees that we were able to identify during our stay who were greeted by staff as 'old friends'. Read the other reviews that will fill in the spaces in my own report - beach beds (plentiful), location (superb - close to all amenities, restaurants and cafes) staff (outstanding), welcome (warm and helpful), breakfast and meals (will never suit everyone but we found them to be excellent); I could go on, but I want to draw out three specific examples: 1. Before we even arrived I made contact with Vaida Blades in the Bookings and Activities Centre. Vaida went out of her way to ensure that we had a booking on Ted's Tours (you have to go on this trip!!) and gave us advice as well as making us a booking of a Catamaran Tour which was superb; she then sorted out a payment problem for us - just fantastic. 2. Again even before arrival Chia on Reception replied promptly to my emails, dealt with the enquiry and ensured we started off well on our holiday. Whilst mentioning staff I must also commend AnneMarie in Breakfast, Adio and Ryan in Charlie's Beach Bar and Troy at the Front Door, even the Security Guards on the beach - absolutely superb. 3. And finally, on the very last day of our holiday I experienced a problem snorkelling on the reef (my own fault). Again everyone was marvellous from the staff who provided instant treatment in the bar to the General Manager Jason who concerned about my situation personally took me to the local health Centre and arranged for treatment and medication to be prescribed. I simply cannot sing the praises of this hotel too highly. Every aspect of it offered complete satisfaction to my wife and I; we enjoyed the most wonderful holiday and will certainly return. Thank you to everyone at the Coconut Court for your help and 'friendship'.

    Great spot to relax

Though one of the less expensive options for a Barbados beach hotel, this hotel is a fantastic place to enjoy a beach break. Rooms are large, beds comfortable and bathroom and kitchenette have all the basics you need. Couple that with an azure sea view from the balcony and it's perfect. The beach is clean and safe, with ample free sunbeds and natural shade available. Snorkeling is good on the small artificial reef and turtles can be seen feeding too. Meals and drinks were very good and simple, not overpriced, and offer different options for dining and drinking indoors and on the beach. The breakfast egg ladies serve a great omelette and all the staff we met were so friendly. Very glad we stayed at Coconut Court.

    Jammin at Coconut Court

Booked through BA-holiday package- Excellent. Great view from the room, enjoyed getting up early to watch sun rise over the beach and share my morning biscuit with 'three little birds' Breakfast included in package which was a great start to the day. Well located hotel for amenities. Availability of sunbeds was brilliant, just choose your palm tree for shade. We are not snorkelers so the ability to feed the tropical fish at waist height, at the reef when the tide was out, just made our holiday really special Watch out there are turtles about!. Loved it!

    Fabulous Hotel

We have just returned from our first visit to Barbados and stay at Coconut Court. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of Bridgetown, George Washington House for a little history and further down to the Gap. There is a bus stop right outside if you don't fancy the walk. The beach is lovely with a fabulous reef easily accessible. Our room was large, with balcony and sea view. It had a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, safe iron and ironing board, hairdryer and TV. We attended the Managers rum punch welcome party and the owners made a special effort to welcome us and talk with us. The staff cannot do enough for you. Special mention to Hatfield, we arrived at the beach but there were no sunbeds left so we put our towels on the beach and went for a swim. Whilst we were swimming Hatfield found 2 sunbeds and brought them over for us. How kind and thoughtful. We ate at Charlie's beach bar a couple of times and found it to be very good. There is entertainment in the evenings but it does not go on to late. We loved the hotel and Barbados and did not want to go home. We hope to return.
