Jan 20, 2026Fantastic sunrises and very relaxing
The Divi is located on the east end of the island. Being right on the water, the hotel offers kayaking and swimming. Across the street there is a workout room, outdoor tennis and pickleball and minigolf. The outdoor pool and hottub were right next to a huge bar along side of the beach.Nearby is a trailhead enabling you to hike to glorious private beaches and can hike to Pt. Udall. The hotel rooms are clean and well appointed. The food was well prepared and tasty. Drinks were great! Everyone who works there were so pleasant and welcoming. To name a few: Tshane, Edmond, Lisa, Orlando, Alyssa, Louisa, Bethany, Scott, Carla, Elbert, Ebony, Vashne, Josiah and Jonathan

Divi Carina Bay St Croix USVI - Great Getaway
Great south shore St Croix getaway. The staff was above excellent in welcoming us (Tiki, Liz, Jonathan, Edmund), and we had superb service from food servers (Bethany, Louisa, Elbert, Ebena, Vashane, Ebony and Scott). The resort is well laid-out and has a beautiful pool, hot tub and, of course, the beach. Food was plentiful and delicious. Whether breakfast or pool-side lunch or dinner, we never had a less than great meal. There is a hiking trail nearby that can take you east to Point Udall. See the staff for easy navigation to the trailhead. There you'll find desolate beaches and just pure St Croix beauty. The resort has great on-property activities including kayaking. Without question a great place to chill and soak up the sun!

Amazing!!!
St. Croix is an amazing beautiful place already!!! Having amazing people to make the experience even better is always amazing!!! Please ask for Louisa and Bethany they are the best bartender!!! Definitely was an amazing experience!!! Louisa was extremely observant and able to make an excellent drink just by asking for something sweet!!! Both women were very welcoming!!! They both had great advice on things to do around the island!!! Sekiay & Uzziah is an amazing cooks!! Ebony and Liz were amazing in the dining area!!! Wanda was amazing!!!

I highly recommend this resort stop taking other people's negative advice and experience it for yourself...................

When you arrive at the resort, the view mesmerizes you. But your second impression is this resort needs some TLC. There are many things to love about this resort: the food, Bethany the barkeep, Emily the room valet, Ebony our incredible waitress and many more staff that give their all, the beach, pool & jacuzzi, Oceans for breakfast, Tuscany for dinner. But, they are understaffed, maintenance of the resort is severely lacking, sargassum & seaweed removal should be done more frequently. This resort could easily become 5 Star with an influx of investment $$$s. The Casino & surrounding area are very well maintained as locals & tourists keep it occupied. In comparison to the resort, the Casino is pristine. When we took the tour of the resort via golf cart, you could see the areas that are severely lacking: the Villas, the landscape surrounding the shuffle board courts, the laundry facility, the gym and the main buildings that house the sleeping accommodations. I am sure that maintaining a property of this size requires $$$$’s and staff. But this could be the shining star of St. Croix. With that said, since occupancy at the resort was minimal, there were minimal guests, which added an additional plus for us.
