  Great Stay at Breathless Riviera Cancun

  Stayed at this resort from October 8-19. Resort is small but has everything you need on site for a fun filled trip. Want to give our exhale pool Guy Victor a huge thank you. He was there to great us at the pool with chairs for us every day. Make sure you go see Danial at the exhale pool bar. He makes the best drinks at the resort. Also thank you to our 2 awesome pool servers Nadia and Maria, you 2 are the best. Not much of a beach at this property but the pools make up for it. We tried 3 restaurants and the food was decent at those. We were a bit disappointed that the buffet wasn’t open for supper. It’s only open for breakfast and lunch. We attended a couple shows and they were really good. No real issues at all at Breathless Riviera Cancun.. we will most likely return sometime.

  Perfect Resort for Adults-Only Getaways

  We went to Breathless Riviera Cancun Resort for our friend’s 40th birthday and had the time of our life! It’s an all-inclusive, adults only resort, so the food and drinks are endless, and there’s always an event or activity to join in on no matter the weather. The staff were all super friendly and hospitable. The resort is beautiful with a great view of the beach, and the rooms are clean and spacious. We had an ocean-front room with a swim up. The pools are beautiful and huge, but the Xcelerate pool was the more fun one of all. It was our favorite because it had more of a “party” vibe. If you’re looking for a “turn up”, that’s the pool to go to. Pascual at the buffet was one of the best parts of our trip. He works the breakfast and lunch shifts and he always had a big table waiting to accommodate our 11-person party. He was friendly, funny, and very. helpful. The resort’s spa is really nice! We enjoyed a hydrotherapy session at the spa with our friends and also booked a couples massage that left us super relaxed and re-energized. They also offer hair, nail, and facial services. Breathless isn’t far from the airport (about a 15-20 minute ride), and nearby a lot of other beach resorts so it’s continently located with great views of the beach/ocean. If you stay at the adjacent Secrets resort, you’ll have access to the Breathless property. I don’t remember the total cost of our trip, but the resort was well worth every penny. We stayed 5 days, 4 nights and honestly the trip wasn’t long enough. My husband and I were able to enjoy a few romantic moments separate from our large group, so i can confidently recommend this resort for any kind of adults-only getaway - a romantic trip with your spouse or partner, an anniversary celebration, a girls trip, or even just a relaxing time away from the stress of everyday life.

  Great weekend

  Amazing experience with friends and family celebrating a Bachelor/Bachelorette weekend the resort was great with the entertainment,food, and welcoming staff. the combined resort access was also a great experience and we would absolutely recommend. Pascual at breakfast was great, very attentive and friendly. Its always a plus when staff interacts and remembers you each day.

  If you are looking for a dining experience where the hospitality is just as outstanding as the food, look no further than Spoon Restaurant. The service provided by Pascual, Willian, and Joana was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we sat down, their genuine warmth and bright energy completely elevated the meal. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, blending professional, attentive service with a personal touch that is incredibly rare to find. What truly set this experience apart was how wonderfully friendly they were. They did not just bring out our food; they created a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that made us feel completely at home. Their fantastic teamwork and attentiveness made the entire visit unforgettable. I highly recommend stopping by Spoon Restaurant—huge thanks to Pascual, Willian, and Joana for setting the gold standard for customer service!

  We will be back to Breathless

  The BAD: Our first day started off with the main pool (energy pool) still being under maintenance, meaning that everyone was at the smaller party pool, and the beach was full of sargasses. The workers to remove the sargasses were nowhere to be found. When we finally saw them the following day, they only used rudimentary tools and were working slowly. It took them a few days to remove the sargasses. They still left behind some dried sargasses. The water stayed brown all week. There was a bad smell on the resort coming from the sargasses, especially in the evening when the wind would pick up. The AVERAGE: The crowd during evening events around 6:30pm outside didn't participate much. Almost no one was dressed for the neon party. People were not dancing much all week except for the silent party. Unfortunately, the entertainment team was mostly absent during these events. On resorts where the crowd participates, the entertainment team is actively reaching out to people in the crowd. The GOOD: The main pool opened on our second day. It made a big difference on our stay. The food was pretty good. All employees were very nice with everyone. The resort is beautiful. The discotheca is fun. The spa is beautiful. The free 50 min hydrotherapy with Xhale was good. Massage therapists were great, especially Julia: a great mix of strong massage with her forearms and elbows, with a relaxing touch.
