We loved the resort and the east of using five different resorts at once with our family. There were tons of pools and a choice of three different theaters at night for shows. Tons of shopping. I do wish there were more à la carte restaurants with our stay. If you have a picky child, the buffets were often difficult as There wasn’t much kid friendly food. Nevertheless, we always felt completely safe on the resort. The snorkeling is also amazing. We saw turtles and fish easily. Bring your snorkel masks with you!

It's okay, food sucks, terrible selection of beers!
Its so hot here. The room service was awesome, beautiful place, very well kept up. Beer selection is terrible, only Heineken was available in your room, they did have Dos Equis light at the bar, where you are given a cup that holds 8 oz of beer, did I say its hot? You have to gulp that thing before it melts in your hands. I feel that everyone there try's to take advantage of the rich Americans.

Had the worst experience so far with any resort. We checked in early and staff was so rude as well as miserable after been there an hour we decided to cancel the reservation and move to another resort. There was a mall in the resort where people was singing loudly the only buffet restaurant there was closed so no food option when we tried to reserve restaurants for evening the concierge mentioned it was a courtesy not sure why !!! I would definitely stay away from this one

NEVER COME HERE!!
I had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience with this hotel. We had originally booked the Barcelo Beach resort, only to find out upon arrival that it was under renovation—something we were never informed about in advance. Without our knowledge or consent, we were transferred to a different resort that we did not want. When we attempted to speak with management about this unacceptable situation, we were met with highly unprofessional and inappropriate behavior. The manager, Isaenn Garcia, was extremely rude, verbally aggressive, and attempted to intimidate me by standing uncomfortably close while raising his voice. His conduct was not only disrespectful but also made me feel unsafe. This level of treatment is completely unacceptable for any hospitality establishment. I do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances, and I will never be returning.

Beautiful Resort
Beautiful place to stay, very clean. Don’t ask the staff any questions, they won’t know the answers. Otherwise, great service for most things.
