Feb 12, 2026Family Time at the Barcelo Bavaro Beach Adult Resort
Fabulous week with 97 yr old Mother and sisters & brother-in-laws and a cousin! We had a wonderful time, a little too much walking for a couple of our group but we managed. Everyone at the resort was friendly and accommodating! We have stayed at other Barcelo's but this is the first Adult Resort we have tried, would definitely do it again!

Nice spot with friendly and helpful staff. Like the fact it is adult only. Access to the Palace next door for additional entertainment a plus. Food quality and variety in Buffet very good compared to other resorts we've been to.

Never disappoints
Our experience has gotten better every year we have come. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food is just ok but we are not staying at a place like this for the food. Will continue to come back for years to come.

First time to the Dominican
The only issue for us was a lot of smokers. Even in the open area with the wind, it was hard to avoid. Every time we went on our 2nd floor balcony within a fer minutes someone was smoking on their porch and ruining it for us. I would recommend 1 nonsmoking building.

Excellent food and service at Barcelo Bavaro Beach Adult Only
Amazing staff, food and drinks. We asked to move to a upper room which they accommodated us without hesitation. Guest services very friendly and accommodating.
