Everything from check in to check out was amazing. Definitely go premium it’s worth the money. A big shout to to Victor in the premium lounge and Fernando around the pool, you guys made our trip the best. Food was good even in the buffet, we did have breakfast in the premium lounge which was nice.

My family and I had a great stay at the Barcelo in March. We spent eight nights and nine days there and thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The staff were generally very friendly and went out of their way to make our experience enjoyable. The food was mostly good, though it’s best to use some common sense when choosing what to eat. The pools were great, and our kids (under 5) especially loved the water slides. One thing I really appreciated was the hotel’s clear signage discouraging guests from reserving chairs with towels—it made me feel completely justified in moving towels left on empty chairs. The only surprise was that long pants were required for men at the à la carte restaurants, which I hadn’t expected. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Barcelo Huatulco
Overall very good. Enjoyed our stay. Great weather and very relaxing. Had some issues with wheelchair washroom, it is unsafe. Lounge chairs were a problem and finding shade. Lounge chairs were saved and some were not used until late afternoon which is unfair for others and getting up at 6:30 to find one was a bit of a chore.

Awesome Experience
This was the 4th time staying at the Barcelo and again it did not disappoint! Wonderful location with a fantastic view and beach! All the staff are extremely hard working and very much appreciate their work ethic! Food variety and quality was outstanding in all the restaurants and buffet! Was really great getting to know some of the staff especially Fernando around the pool and Eunice in La Tortuga! Wonderful people!! The room we had was very clean and well maintained throughout our stay! Thank you to all of the Barcelo staff for a very enjoyable stay!

The cost for one week ocean view room was expensive and to be placed in a room with a satelite issue the tv did not work the entire week. The resort was full so changing rooms was not an option
