    100 %

Everything was great noise level wasn’t too bad but that was because our room was at a great location will definitely request to be in the same area any closer to the big pool I wouldn’t want to be it’s great for the younger crowd but I like it quiet and love the swim out room

    The hotel resort was amazing

The hotel resort was amazing We were all inclusive which was great. The choice of restaurants and different cuisines was amazing You did have to book for ala cart so you do have to make sure you’re a k in time for dinner or incur a charge We booked our dinner one particular evening but our excursion over run We had checked how long it would be but it wasn’t accurate There was always a variety of buffet restaurants available so you never went hungry at any time Even a lovely coffee shop that did savoury snacks and pastries The other excursions were excellent and we get back in time for our food and other entertainment at the hotel which was also good There was always lots of activities and great entertainment the entertainment team were fantastic! Just be mindful we wanted to go scuba diving and we booked this through the hotel I had explained that I had asthma but they said you complete a health form first When we arrived at the diving venue we were given said forms to complete my friend was good to go But on the form it asked weather I had any breathing conditions which of course I had to tick yes because of my Asthma Then any back problems which again I had to tick Migraine was another I had to tick and finally was I on any medication and I had to tick that as well and I am despite all of this a healthy individual but what happened next left me flabbergasted The dive guy said that I wouldn’t be able to go scuba diving with 4 boxes ticked I was disappointed but understood the implications and I wanted to be safe No sooner was I coming to terms with not being able to go diving the guy returned with a new form and said don’t tick yes to things I couldn’t believe what he was saying they wanted me to lie about my health conditions therefore they would not be liable if anything happened to me I duly refused to do that because of course if I did and anything had happened to me my insurance company would not pay out and rightly so. I did not dive and I enquired about a refund and the diving representative said no they didn’t give refunds. With this excursion we were also going to swim with Dolphins I asked if they were in a pen we were told that they were free to come and go This was not true they were in a pen and were not free to go ! We were misled had we known this we would not have booked this excursion at all ! This did leave me feeling let down by Excursion representative so beware sure of exactly what you are booking.

    Excellent staff & lovely accommodation

Direct access to the public beach. We had a swim up suite that was a good size but didnt get the sun until the evening. When booking suggest you specify if you want sun all day. The pool was good as was the entertainment around the pool & throughout the hotel. The entertainment team & all staff were excellent. There was plenty of choice at the buffet but fhe foiod was often cold. Best to get hot food cooked to order. The omelettes at breakfast time were a big hit. Another tip would be to book the a la carte restaurants before you travel to avoid disappointment. The hotel is one of 6 in the complex & we could use the facilities at the other hotels. Punta Cana doesnt have a resort centre so organised trips are needed to explore the island. Overall very good value for money.

Definitely Not 5 star absolutely Avoid

Our 1st and last time visiting a Bahia Chain Hotel. We booked this Adult only Hotel to celebrate our 39th Wedding Anniversary which was noted on our booking and was discussed with the Guest Services Team Member on our arrival but was not recognised at all! No sash on the door, no bottle of fizz or Chocolates. My Husband went on the day to discuss with our Blocks Guest Service Rep and stillnothing happened. If you are expecting luxury as it was shown as a 5 Star Hotel then I am sorry that you too will be disappointed. POOL -If you want a cold beer while at the pool then be prepared to have to give a hefty tip to get a bucket of cold Presidente cans otherwise they are as rare as hens teeth. The tap option tastes terrible. There are no rules on behaviour with large groups of people gathering playing their own loud music and throwing beer cans in the pool. The hard surface area around pool is absolutely filthy I never saw any washing in 14 days ! SPORTS BAR-A Vegetarian Burger is listed on their menu. When ordered I was told "we don't do them" The Guest Service spoke to the Supervisor and I was told to ask for her and I would get a Vegetarian Burger. I done this and told by the Supervisor "no we don't do them" so I gave up. TRUCK STOP-(In adjoining Hotel) I tried to order the Vegetarian Burger shown on their Signage above the Serving Area and I was told "It was only for decoration" again very misleading. BRISAS RESTARAUNT- The staff in this Restaurant are too busy enjoying themselves to give guests any attention. All young and left to their own devices. Food luke warm at best. Vegetarian option daily is bland tinned beans and rice and Salad bar minimal. Dirty and tables not laid effectively. BUFFET- Disorganised again food laid out is all luke warm at best. Salad bar pathetic. MEAT- We were not shown the display of different steak cuts that were shown to other tables around us. We were told to use the app for the menu and other guests were shown a printed menu. My husbands steak arrived without the ordered mash. My corn on the cob arrived cold and dried up, asparagus was cold and stringy, 2 tiny jacket potatoes were just warm the butter would not melt on them. We couldn't wait to leave. Definitely the preferred guest's are Canadians and Americans and are favoured by all the staff and they simply put up with any British guests. I have never been so eager to leave a hotel at the end of our 14 day holiday, so what does that say for the Hotel?

    Terrible sleep

If you want an early night dont book this hotel. We traveled for 12 hours with a -4hour time difference to arrive in our room (to us 2am). Also had full day excursions booked 6am-6pm. Not every day we like to have an early night but the night we were exhausted were and unable to sleep really upsets the mood. Our room which is directly next to the main stage for nightime entertainment making it impossible to go to sleep any time before 11pm as there is constant singing and bass from music 8pm-11pm.
