Found 4 cockroaches next morning crawling around kitchen /inside my toothbrush/ on the wall next to the bed / manager don’t care / such an old hotel. Smell mold don’t waste your money please. It’s not worthy.

Read before you book…
The hotel was dirty. Roaches and mold. The shower was like warm at best. Staff were very friendly and nice.

The location is perfect. Located in the heart of Waikiki and everything is easily accessible. I didn't need parking, but they do have parking available and a valet. There is a resort fee. It was $72 for two days. I was only aware of this in advance after reading the fine print on Priceline. The entire hotel is dated. That isn't necessarily an issue. The concern is it is not well maintained. Dirty wall paper in the entry, things pieced together from previous repairs. Phone in guest room did not work when needed. Front desk was aware and made no attempt to repair. There is no thermostat in the room. There is a knob on the wall to adjust the fan. Overall, the room was clean. The curtains are very old and dirty. They smell awful and need to be washed or replaced. The bed was clean and comfortable. There is street noise which is not the hotel's fault. I have stayed in another hotel a few blocks away and experienced the same. My stay was not bad but I couldn't shake an uneasy feeling during my stay. I can't pinpoint why.

While the hotel staff was friendly and polite, especially the cleaning staff. The lack of proper ventilation in the bathrooms is causing visible mold. tile shower was painted. My parents room was worse than mine with mold growing along the floor outside of the bathroom. If you have any problems with mold i couldn't recommend staying here.

Location was smack in the middle of everything. The Bus is right outside the the hotel. Rooms were very clean. Good price for it's location. Beach, shops, restaurants, public transit is in the immediate area.
