    Pool handrails

    I loved everything about this hotel except the pool. I have mobility issues and the handrails to enter the pool start several feel into the pool. Very poor design

    Vacation

    I was at the Sonesta Maho beach resort for 5 days. The employees, the foods and the location were amazing. I had such a great time there. I can't wait to go back!

    Not worth it, but not the worst experience.

    Hotel itself - very nice, recently updated, rooms were nice, maid service was great. Pool - only one pool but not terribly busy, it was clean, entertainment around the pool was decent. Food - not the best (4/10 at most). Repetitive, often cold, not like a Mexican all inclusive or even Dominican Republic. Staff - either rude and bothered by your presence, or very friendly (Stacey at the grill is exceptional!). There was no in-between. For the price, I won't be back even though the island itself is beautiful and amazing. If we come back out won't likely be here as even a week was more than enough of the same food and underwhelming service.

    NIGHT ONE OF A BIRTHDAY WEEKEND CELEBRATION

    I got to experience Jings Restaurant on my first night and I must say Orlando the waiter has been nothing exceptional at making sure I was satisfied with everything. And definitely will be returning just to have him as my waiter again. Great customer service Orlando

    Sonesta Maho St Martin

    Guest safety is not respected at poolside. Running, smoking, playing football, reserving chairs for hours, etc. Staff does not care. I will not go there again.
