This hotel for us was a 10/10 from the moment we arrived after 1 hour 10 minute drive from Cancun airport. Check in was very quick and we were taken to our room. Room was spotless and swim up pool looked very inviting with the dim lights. Bathroom large with double sink, great mirrors and a very powerful shower. Buffet breakfast (adults only side) had a great choice and the staff are all so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The pool (heaven side) is perfect. Great music playing all day (perfect volume) being served cocktails in the pool bar or served at your lounger. The pool bar staff are so friendly and will make anything you please along with their own specialities! Fun activities in the pool to suit everyone. The lagoon beach is lovely and warm with plenty of fish to swim around with. Nearly all restaurants tried and all great food. Steak in this hotel wherever you eat it is so good. Live music in the lobby is very good. We old 100% recommend and can’t wait to return.

Save your money! • Room shower water didn’t get hot • The place is falling apart • The staff loves to use the word “No.” • The food is sub-par • Elevator in building was broken • And on, and on. There are better options at this price point. Don’t get sucked in by the brand itself. The place looked like a refurbish shopping mall from the 90’s and they present as if they’re luxury, but they’re economy at best. I will not be coming back.

Fantastic staff at Hard Rock Riviera Maya
My name is Michael Alvarez and I've been going to the Hard Rock Riviera Maya for years and my experience there has been phenomenal, I just wanted to mention some people that are part of the staff that make my vacation so special and enjoyable every year Chef Cynthia at restaurant Faro and our waitress Gabby were fantastic also Chef Eliezer Santiago at Hacienda prepared a wonderful meal for us also I have to mention manager Maria who manages Faro and has managed many of the restaurants over the years has not only made our stay extra special but has become a special friend of the family. Jackie and Miguel our waiters at Wai just went above and beyond whenever we ate there. Also our bartender Mukul at the heaven bar always put a smile on our face with his special drink. And last but not the least was our waiter at Chow, Tacuba. Thankyou to all that made our vacation extra special.🙏

Great experience in Hard Rock Riviera Maya
We had a great experience in Hard Rock Riviera Maya. They made our family trip a great experience! They had a very nice detail at the pool! Special thanks to William, Irving Moreno, Salgado and Yukari.
