Dec 10, 2025AWFUL and dangerous Kids Club - Grand Palladium Punta Cana
This review is specifically for the Kids Club at Grand Palladium Punta Cana. There were very concerning issues that I witnessed whilst I accompanied my son who is 3 at the Kids Club, I never felt comfortable to leave him unattended and here's why. One of the days my son was on the trampoline outside, another child had climbed the stairs within the kids club playground and began to throw toys from height down on the ground almost hitting my son and other children. The staff didn't even notice! My husband had to tell the child to get down and stop and when we alerted the staff she dismissed it and carried on. Another day, a small female child was unattended, crying, on her own walking around the main pool area, she had left the kids club without the staff noticing and was calling for her mother. A guest and I walked the child back to the kids club and I told the staff that she was walking around on her own and the staff said 'its ok thank you'. I never saw that child's parents to alert them but that could have been so dangerous, the child looked 2 years old. Another incident happened within the indoor area of the kids club where a young girl who looked around 4 years old was being crushed by a giant beanbag cushion by another child and my husband had to intervene. The staff were nowhere to be seen and do not have eyes on the children as they should. They are untrained, unreliable and dismissive. I also saw staff shouting and telling off small babies and young toddlers. DO NOT leave your children unattended at the kids club !

We couldn’t fault our stay at the Palladium—everything was fantastic. The service was excellent everywhere we went. We spent most of our time at the TRS pool and had breakfast daily at Helios, which was consistently outstanding. Stephanie at Helios made us feel at home every single morning, greeting us by name and even remembering our room number. The service was quick and smooth, the staff were lovely, and the views were incredible. The entertainment around the TRS pool was also great. The team running the activities made us feel welcome every day. Kendoll, Jesús, Daniel, Julián, and Luiyi from POP greeted us each morning with bright smiles and friendly energy. They went out of their way to check in on us, invite us to different activities, and keep us laughing throughout the day. Dolores and Fairent provided amazing service around the TRS pool as well—they were fantastic. Dolores, Fairent, and Kendoll truly became our friends during our stay. They are all incredible, hardworking people, and because of them we felt like family. All the staff at the Palladium work extremely hard, and we appreciate every single one of them. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

no water one day, door would often and never fixed even though i reported it, the main thing was there was no way to get any reservations at restaurants. Many were closed. Layout of the property was bizarre. we had reserved conference room but it was closed and no one around

Everyone was very kind and welcoming. I booked through Expedia which gave us a “private check in” and a concierge for our stay. Our concierge Edwin Simon helped us with everything we needed throughout our week stay. Everything with the resort is great other than when they try to pitch a “Travel club” which sounds like a scam, and they spend your whole first morning annoying you about it. Also, sad to say the food sucked everywhere. The buffets are ok but their “specialty restaurants” are pretty bad.
