Nov 05, 2026Poor overall - don’t recommend
Disappointing Stay – Barely a 3-Star Experience I recently stayed at the Grand Palladium Palace in Punta Cana for one week in October, and unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations. I would never return to this resort and certainly would not recommend it to anyone. Food & Dining The food was consistently terrible throughout the entire stay. We managed to try all of the on-site restaurants, and every single one was a disappointment. To start, dietary restrictions were largely ignored. When I ordered a vegetarian omelette at breakfast, the staff mixed it in the same bowl as the ham. After I pointed this out and was told it was fine, the cook proceeded to use the exact same spatula to flip both the ham and vegetarian omelettes. The quality control in general was concerning—my friend was served prawns that still had huge, uncleaned black veins running right through them. Drinks Even the bar service couldn't salvage the meals. The drinks were dreadful across the board. I tried standard options like a margarita, a martini, and a daiquiri, and I honestly have no idea how they managed to make every single drink taste so bad. Rooms & Maintenance The rooms are very tired and desperately need maintenance—we even had electrical plugs hanging loose off the wall. Worse, the room smelled strongly of damp and mildew. While high humidity is expected in the Dominican Republic, the cleaning and room airing were completely insufficient to manage it. The smell was so pervasive that my entire suitcase and all my clothes stank by the time I got home. Overall, this resort operates more like a budget 3-star property than a upscale resort. Save your money and book elsewhere.

Our trip and our experience at Grand Palladium in Punta Cana was absolutely amazing. From the perfect beaches to the amazing hotel room and the friendly staff. It all made our week there one of the most incredible experiences! Highly recommended

Worst ever in DR
Family relaxation. Outdated leeky shower, air conditioning not working properly, door does not always open to get in the room. Food not very good. Does not compare to Majestic, Grand Bahia or other
