Great family experience, solid 4 stars
We recently stayed at Sensira Resort (last week of August) and overall had a very good experience — I’d rate it a solid 4 stars. The resort itself is beautiful: modern, very clean, with comfortable beds and an accommodating housekeeping staff. The pools were gorgeous with plenty of seating and great views. Drinks by the pool were fantastic, and we never had trouble finding a spot to relax, even without going early. The kids especially loved the trampoline area before dinner, and the nightly entertainment far exceeded our expectations — so good that we kept the kids up late just to enjoy the shows together. There were a few downsides: the road to the resort is rough (narrow, one-lane, and very bumpy), and while the pools were generally clean, the kids’ pool could have been better maintained. The beach was the biggest disappointment. It was covered in seaweed during our stay, making the ocean unswimmable despite the staff’s efforts to rake it. Of course, this isn’t the resort’s fault, but it did affect the experience. Dining was satisfying overall, with several restaurants to choose from. As someone who eats gluten-free, I appreciated that the buffet labeled everything, though nearly everything was marked as containing gluten due to cross-contamination. Thankfully, servers were helpful — they arranged for gluten-free waffles or pancakes at breakfast, and the Italian restaurant offered gluten-free pasta. Still, options were limited: no gluten-free pizza, and just one gluten-free dessert across the resort. For families, the kids’ clubs are a mixed bag. The toddler club (18 months–4 years) felt lackluster — they mostly watched TV, and the staff didn’t really engage with the kids, though they were safe and cared for. In contrast, the older kids’ club was wonderful. Our 5- and 8-year-old boys had a blast, especially during the daily craft time. We also visited the spa several times. The facility is beautiful, with a great sauna, though the hot tub wasn’t actually hot. The massages were hit-or-miss depending on the therapist, but the overall experience was relaxing. A nice touch was that we were upgraded from a family room to two adjoining rooms with a connecting door, which worked perfectly for us. Bottom line: Sensira is a clean, modern resort with excellent entertainment, family-friendly amenities, and beautiful pools. The beach situation and some inconsistencies (like kids’ clubs and spa quality) hold it back from being a true 5-star experience, but it’s still a wonderful choice for a family vacation.

Family fun
I was very nice, overall, plenty to eat and activities to do. Nice play to visit with children. Definitely plan for extra activities for excursions. I preferred having local money than usd. At lot of shopping options, they have a nice gift shops that have everything you need.

1st Time in Mexico GREAT!
Had a wonderful first experience in Mexico and at an all-inclusive resort here with my family. As a vegan I did appreciate the various vegan choices they had. I loved how there was something for all of us adults as well as for my 3 year old nephew to enjoy and have fun at. The service and workers were very friendly and gave excellent service every step of the way. Angel in particular was really great and a friendly, helpful host and my family loved his energetic and charismatic vibe, especially as the MC at the Michael Jackson experience. He never hesitated to take our family pictures, and told us about many activities happening at the resort. He always had a smile! Our butlers Rafael and Marcos were also so great! They kept us informed daily of resort activities, answered all of our questions, and got us settled smoothly during our stay. They were both so helpful to me and my family at our first ever family resort! They even helped us set up a trip to Playa Del Carmen as well as the tequila tasting experience (HIGHLY reccommend). Very kind staff. The only suggestion I have is for there to be more vegan options at the buffet as I felt slightly limited at breakfast and lunch (many fruits and veggies and some pasta). I would also love to see a concept of a rotating menu at the main restaurants. I think that would be really varied and interesting for guests to experience. As a vegan foodie who has ate at many restaurants from mid range to high end, I defintiely see the vision and space for that concept at this kind of resort! I also loved the coffees (they have almond milk, can make different kinds of lattes, ect), consistently strong drinks/shots (as someone that doesn'tdrink heavily but still drinks, they were good), and fresh variety of veggies, fruit, and more. I even tried nopales for the first time and I think I want more of it! The rooms were extremely clean and I always had fresh clean towels and a freshly made bed when I would come back into my room. Overall, I didn't know what to expect for my first time in Mexico and I have to say, it was a pretty great/memorable experience and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Thank you, Sensira!
