Huatulco

Located on Mexico’s southern Pacific coast in the state of Oaxaca, Huatulco (wah-tool-co), a watersports lover’s dream, boasts 22 miles of picturesque beaches and nine sparkling bays. Tangolunda Bay is home to many modern resort hotels and is connected to Santa Cruz Bay by a seaside boulevard that leads to the town of La Crucecita. Neighboring the peaceful paradise of Conejos Bay is the recently discovered archeological site, Copalita Eco-Archeological Park. Huatulco was the first destination in this hemisphere to be Green Globe certified. Its high environmental standards are part of what keeps its beaches golden, rock formations beautiful, and waters sapphire.
