We read the past reviews (and watched the YouTube videos) for this resort and felt our personal expectations were met: quiet & low key environment, low rise villas, meandering pool, large & comfortable suites with quality amenities, welcoming, attentive & personable staff, and especially the 'no-pressure' vibe of the resort. We came here to relax, rest and feel taken care of - Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana did just that. We will definitely return during the cold months in Canada! Pros: Queer-friendly atmosphere, almost never having to wait too long for a table to be available, in any of the restaurants, well designed property where you feel safe, looked after and feel at ease while meandering through the tranquil grounds. Cons: Mosquitoes!!! I was covered in bites, my partner not at all. They have natural bug repellents and the grounds are 'smoked' around 6pm, unfortunately it had no effect. I will bring my own repellent next time. Spa rates/packages seemed pricey and are comparable to North American rates; massage techniques are limited yet effective in reducing muscle stiffness. Staff mentions: Alejandro (assigned concierge was efficiently attentive); Allan (Amstar rep was fabulous); Joel (lobby bartender was amazing); Renny (front desk was friendly); Yeilin (Indigo & Amaya); Sory (Amaya & Tea Service); Johanna (Olena & Amaya); José (Olena, Amaya - spoke French also); Henry (Indigo); Jose (all restaurants, Piragua) Tanya ; Gabriel (lobby bartender was hardworking); Spa staff - Wanda/mgr., masseuses Santa, Avenal & others; housekeeping staff are the best! Tips: 3-storey villas, we found the 2nd floor king suite was adequate for our needs - less critters coming in from the ground and less chance of roof leaks when raining. Constantine & Stephen Toronto

Welcome Home, Family!
Zoetry facility was gorgeous and very well maintained. The resort only having 96 rooms made it feel as if we had the resort to ourselves. The food, activities and massages were very relaxing. . My wife and I kept saying it did not seem real. The staff was wonderful always friendly. Johan made the stay even more enjoyable as he was so accommodating.

Zoëtry family vacay
This was a long time needed family vacation. The atmosphere of the resort was laid back and enjoyable from our concierge Luis who was available at all times for what we needed, Leiddy the hostess of Indigo who greeted us with a smile each morning at breakfast to Gilberto who made us feel at home. The nightly entertainment, especially the circus, we amazing. The poolside classes including spin with Jason and cigar rolling, Spanish and dance classes with Gilberto gave us an enjoyable reprieve from the sun. We utilized our massages, horseback riding and water sports (paddle boarding and kayaking). My sister even went offshore for scuba. The food did not disappoint either. All and all, a great quiet destination where everyone makes you feel like home.

Family vaca
We stayed at Zoëtry for my mothers retirement..The staff and employees all made the experience excellanto!!! From making you feel welcomed to taking care of anything you could think the trip,was perfect…Emmanuel Cruz was helped with our daily activities and helped learn the culture taught us a lil Spanish and catered to our every need..once ina lifetime trip and would not hesitate to go back…

Exceptional Service
We just returned from this resort and it’s absolutely beautiful. The beach is stunning, no seaweed. Service is exceptional and the food was very good. Special shout outs to Alejandra and Cesar for their excellent beach service, room service Jordan and Juan Carlo and our concierge Wiris for his attentiveness to our requests. We have been to many resorts and this is our new favorite very quiet and relaxing.
- AdvisoryZoëtry Agua Punta Cana will temporarily close from July 7 to October 31, 2025, for renovations aimed at enhancing its serene ambiance. The 92 suites, dining areas, and communal spaces will be refreshed with modern touches while honoring local culture and nature. Impacted guests can either be rebooked at a nearby Inclusive Collection resort or cancel penalty-free by July 3, 2025. The hotel will reach out to assist with alternative arrangements.
