Amazing time from start to finish
Came to this amazing resort for a week for our honeymoon. It is beautiful and has so much to do and yet you can really sit and relax. When we arrived we where given a cold towel and a yummy rum punch. We then took the shuttle up to our VILLA. Yes a shuttle, this is how you get around the resort for the most part because it is along the side of a hill/mountain side. Absolutely breathtaking to be honest with you all. And getting a shuttle is very easy all you do is call the receptionist and within 5 minutes a shuttle is there to get you. So we arrive to our room and we had the most beautiful 1 bedroom premium room with the plunge pool. WOW! The room was updated with a beautiful full kitchen and bathroom. The room also featured beautiful private deck and a Juliet balcony all of course with an Ocean view. Not only was it all air conditioned but the living room had floor to ceiling windows! Stunning villa! The resort has amazing staff and all are so friendly and willing to help you. We loved how everybody also wanted you to have a good time and to feel welcome. It seemed that the people here really do care. We did the all inclusive and HIGHLY RECOMMEND. There are 5 different restaurants to eat at with 4 of them beach front. This also includes room service except the small delivery fee. The water sports are a blast and also part of the all inclusive. We went paddle boarding, sailling and tubing! All of it was so fun and no wait time! :) Overall we will be back and i highly recommend to anybody who is going to St Lucia. The beach is spectacular the hammocks over the water are just a to die for spot. Had a great time and we can't wait to visit again in 2020 for 2 weeks
Very relaxing stay
We stayed in villa no. 2 which had a wonderful view along with a number of balconies and a plunge pool. The villa was cleaned regularly to a good standard. The staff at the resort were very friendly and the wait time for meals and drinks was not long at all. We stayed all inclusive and the variety of restaurants was very good. The only wait time we ever had was to be seated at breakfast. I do think that it would be a good idea to have a member of staff stationed at the check in for breakfast and then have a mentor waiting staff show you to your table as this would avoid queues. The quality of food at all meal times was very good. There were plenty of sunbeds available on the beach and being able to have your lunch brought to you on the beach was lovely. Evening entertainment was fairly quiet so if you are looking for a lively resort in the evening this resort is not for you. The resort has a charming and laid back feel which we really enjoyed. We would definitely return.
Our experience at windjammers was extraordinarily good. The food was of very high standard. The view of the sunset and the sea was breathtaking. I would recommend any couple to have their wedding there. Mrs Melanie Reynolds goes above and beyond when planning her weddings and she pays attention to fine details.
Fun time at Windjammer
Stayed at windjammer for 5 days. Had lots of fun with the Watersports staff. Everyone there is great! Food was awesome. Only one downfall is the staff's uniform. I believe that new uniform should be provided to some staff. Saw some gardeners & other guys with torn up uniforms. Reflects poorly on hotel. Overall, good job guys!
Our Best Day Ever - Destination Wedding at Windjammer Landing
My husband and I planned our wedding in St. Lucia during our first stop on a cruise. About a month before our planned wedding date, we reached out to Windjammer with an outline of our proposed day. Just a few hours later, the resort's wedding specialist, Melanie, responded with a detailed itinerary and pricing. Melanie made the planning process simple. She was very organized and thorough. She made it easy to make long distance decisions by sending me sample photos of flowers, the venue, and decorations. She was able to offer options to accommodate every request that I sent. When we arrived at the port, a driver with a large van was there to pick us up. Upon arrival at the resort, Melanie coordinated a lawyer to meet us to sign the marriage paperwork (since we requested a legal ceremony). Then, she scheduled appointments for the women in my group to go to the resort spa for hair and makeup. The spa was beautiful! While I was getting ready, my husband and the men relaxed and dressed in one of the resort's hillside villas overlooking the ocean. After the women were finished getting ready, we went to a separate villa. When it was time for the ceremony, we the family and men were driven to the ceremony site. The resort had a garden ceremony site set up on the top of the hillside overlooking the ocean. Chairs with pink tie sashes and flowers were set up, along with an arch decorated with white fabric and flowers. Melanie coordinated the set up of ice water with fruit and umbrellas for the guests to be comfortable. A steel pan drummer played the music for the ceremony, creating the perfect island ambiance. Although we had not rehearsed, the ceremony went very smoothly. At the end, the guests tossed flower petals for our walk down the aisle. It was perfect. While we took photos on the hilltop and the beach, our family was shuttled to the restaurant. The set up of the resort allowed us to have a grand entrance to our reception. We walked across the beach and up the stairs to a private section of the restaurant. A steel pan band played music for our group. We had a full bar and a variety of tasty appetizers. We were able to enjoy a toast and dances. Melanie booked a photographer and videographer to capture us throughout the day. They took photos of us getting ready, at the garden ceremony, on the beach, and at our reception. We were emailed a link to the images a week after our wedding. The site has been convenient to navigate and all of the photos taken are great. It has been tough to choose! Melanie and the team at Windjammer Landing made our wedding dreams come true. Our time at Windjammer Landing was much too short. We cannot wait to visit again at an anniversary!
