Luxury in paradise
Had a wonderful time at the Westin Villas Princeville. Did not disappoint. My family and I had a wonderful time. There is no beach access from the resort so you have to take the shuttle to the Resort...inconvenient but not horrible. The staff is so welcoming and friendly.
We have been going here for 10 years and it is always consistently wonderful. Two bedroom villas are great, and plenty of room, for a large family. Chris and Cass at the bar are great and Nato in the coffee shop is always friendly.
Aaron at the front desk helped us with a smile and the villa was clean safe and spacious
Aaron at the front desk helped us with a smile and professionalism, catered to our needs and was a pleasure. The villa was safe and clean, spacious, comfortable bed, the ocean view from our balcony was priceless. If you can get an ocean view, you should do so. Breathtaking views of that blue water especially the views that show the infinity pool and the ocean. We were in building 6. Expensive bar drinks but to be expected at high end resort. Expensive breakfast sandwiches at the gift shop/market but tasty. Pools were always clean, we saw staff cleaning pools every morning even in the rain. We didn't use the BBQ grills but saw staff cleaning them daily. We loved this resort and would stay again. Would be helpful to have more parking nearby the villas. One of the two computers at the courtesy business center was not functioning. The lobby restrooms have a shower and clean towels which is helpful if you swim after you've checked out of your villa or if you swim before your villa is ready for check in. The rain shower was nice and spacious.
Good for family or just couples
We have made several trips to this property, once as a couple and twice with family and grandchildren. Each time we have had a lovely trip. The location is beautiful and my family loves the pool food. We dined in the main restaurant only once for dinner and it had excellent fish specials.
Excellent stay with great service, 8 people in a 2 BR kickoff unit.
We just finished a 3 night stay at the Westin Princeville Resort and Villas as part of a family vacation in Kaua’i. We had 8 people in a 2 bedroom kickoff villa and it was enough space and very comfortable. We also requested a rollaway bed that was able to fit by the window in the living room area of the 1 BR side of the kickoff without blocking the sofa bed which was very nice. We had a room on the second floor of Building 4 which had a beautiful view of the golf course and the ocean beyond that. While the property is no longer brand new, it remains well kept and although we had a couple minor maintenance issues, they responded quickly and fixed things. I wanted to call out the excellent service of Aaron at the front desk, who was extremely helpful on our last day of checkout when we had a late flight (there is no late checkout at these Villas, even for Marriott Elite members) with tips on how to use some gift certificates we had, getting us access to the exercise room after we had checked out and also a hospitality suite where we could use showers and help clean up prior to boarding our red eye flight. The hospitality suite was a nice service to have given we could not get late checkout and worth asking about if you have a red eye flight the day you checkout. They also still provide free access to the Princeville Resort (formerly the St. Regis Princeville) which has a beautiful setting in Hanalei Bay that is worth going to.
