Great Stay at Westin Princeville
We stayed in a ground floor studio room for 4 nights and loved it. Very comfortable, incredibly clean and well equipped rooms. Would definitely stay here again. Enjoyed it much more than our resort on the south shore in Poipu. Very comfortable. Felt like home.
North shore Kauai Bucket List Trip
Spent the last 4 nights of my bucket list vacation on the north shore here. It is a beautiful property with every amenity one could think of to have a great vacation. I stayed in a studio that provided a lovely view of the ocean and a fantastic sunrise view to start each day. It was very peaceful to sit on the lanai and enjoy my morning coffee. I did not try to make the walk to the beach from here. I took the shuttle to the other Westin resort and enjoyed the beach there. It was so beautiful, it made me cry!
We typically stay here when on Kauai. Staff are wonderful and the grounds well maintained. The koi pond is freshly stocked which is a source of unending delight for kiddos, especially as they do their daily feedings.
For the price it is not worth it. Not many flowers around. No water station when guests first arrive. Concierge mainly pushed you to go to update seminar more than helped you with places to go. Wendy sent us to places that were offices instead of the actual attractions, restaurants that were just so-so. Couldn’t get to beach unless you took the shuttle to other resort, then go way down to beach. Didn’t receive anything about resort daily activities. Store was tiny and didn’t have much. Pools were dull. Only 2 craft people per day, almost all jewelry. I will not go back to this resort again.
Stay on Kauai
The Princeville was a beautiful place to stay. we watched beautiful sunrises and sunset during our stay, the grounds are well kept and the Nene's provide almost comical entertainment. The grill areas are wonderful place to enjoy your own cooking while enjoying the beauty of Kauai
