MY FAMILY WAS SERVED BY THE WAITER ARMANDO AT DINNER.. WHO TOLD US THAT HE WANTS TO IMPROVE HIMSELF SOON TO BECOME A WAITER.. IN THE OPINION OF MY FAMILY, HE DESERVES TO BE PROMOTED BECAUSE HE REALLY PROVIDED US WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE... VERY TALKATIVE.. THEY HAVE A GOOD WORK ENVIRONMENT AND WE LOVED HIS SERVICE.. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO RETURNING AND FINDING HIM IN THE POSITION THAT HE LOVES SO MUCH OR TO SEE HIM AGAIN TO... BE ABLE TO

We will give this a non bot review see if any one hears it! A)-Rooms Room was very nice, clean. Air con "works" but still left the room warmer than I would of liked B)-Food -The resturant (mexican was off the charts AMAZING) -The one above the snack bar was good (had steak) -The one outside the front lobby was decent Buffet was good, nothing to write home about. Always had fresh fruit and freshly cooked meat, pasta was very meh (I love the resorts that cook the pasts with your mix-ins with pasta sauce choice) C)-Beach The beach was awesome, best one I have been to in Mexico, Lots of people asking you to buy stuff and trying to sell you the seadoos ,etc. -There is a dog there (the friendliest dog around, don't be a dick to her she doesn't like pizza) D)Resort Small as f Half hour walk to the town E)Pools Main pool is awesome, clean, not much of a pool bar, Adult pool would be nice, but looks like a swamp. If I liked small resorts I would go back

Could be amazing
We booked 2 weeks here in September and we were honestly so excited! We had been to the Playacar area before and loved the chilled vibe and after seeing this hotel advertised it seemed perfect for us. Unfortunately it was far from it! We waited over an hour to check in at reception which we wouldnt normall mind but when there are only 4 people in front of you and one member of staff just standing there, well it seemed a bit ridiculous. Whilst waiting, we had to witness the young man laying on the lobby sofa trying tot to be sick eveywhere from too much alcohol whilst his partner repeatedly hit him and staff stood there laughing about the whole situation. We made it to our room and it was basic but very clean and bed was super comfortable, we a,so had a sea view which was lovely. The balcony was tiny but we knew this before we came away so reslly didnt bother us. We ventured to the buffet and this is where the trouble really started... My wife has a severe fish allergy which in other hotels you have a host to take your room number and advise on any allergies etc, there was no host and seating was free for all. We spoke to a waiter about allergies and he said he would return (to which we never saw him again). We had a walk around one of the warmest rooms I have ever been in, the meats were 'sweating', there were children playing with the food and the food tongs with no parental control or staff to clean after them. It was honestly an awful experience, on top of that the heat was that severe that even the staff were soaked with sweat. Air conditioning was definitely needed in this room as its asking for trouble. The following evening was no better, there were no restaurants available to book so hadnno choice but to head to buffet again! This time my wife wasnt so lucky and had a nasty reaction to fish contamination despite being nowhere near the fish! Again, this could have been avoided if there had been someone to advise... We went to the entertainment on the evening by the pool, drinks were decent but someone had been sick next the bar and this had been washed inti the swimming pool where a layer of sludge like liquid sat on top of the water, not a pleasant thing to look at. We requested a hotel change on second day and finally started enjoying our holiday elsewhere. This hotel could and should be better! looks like a 5star, I'd honestly not even give it the 3 stars, even the Staff don't seem to want to be there! Adult only pool was great, lovely chilled vibe, great drinks and a brilliant sun trap, besch was immaculate also. They are the only positives I can give unfortunately. 5th time staying in the area, worst hotel we have ever stayed in.
