  Great hotel for budget holiday travellers

  Location is perfect for volcano bay. Free shuttles to city walk and epic. Rooms have large ceilings. Basic and clean, but do the job. Bath tub, shower is decent. Little noisey with the neighbours and surrounding rooms. For a budget hotel, we would come again. Check-in was really easy. Kate was friendly and informative. Damon sorted out little issues with house keeping. House keeping comes around every other day. We lost our UK reusable Starbucks. Which was replaced. Starbucks in the morning is really busy. Not really possible to walk to universal city walk. Use the free bus. Little tip, if you leave universal early, get the bus to never ending summer hotel. Few minute walk to international drive. Recommend using Lyft or uber for getting around Orlando. You will need taxis to Disney 40 dollars average and international drive 10 dollars on average. The canteen we used for our 1st night. We thought it was little slow to get our dinner and long queues.

  Disappointed on arrival

  Just leaving after 2 weeks here. Upon arrival we were disappointed with the room. We had booked the internal family suite poolside for two adults and two 17 year olds with TUI. I don't know how it can be called a suite. We opened the door to be met with a tired and worn room with not a lot of space to walk around. Small kitchen area but would have thought that a suite would have a kettle. Looked small compared to pictures of it. We needed to use the sofa bed which looked worn and not clean. When we opened it out to use as a bed the mattress was stained with what I can only describe as yellow dribble stains all over the top of the mattress. It's ready for the bin. I went to reception to ask either to move rooms or replace it with a clean one. These options were declined. They offered to send housekeeping to clean it but I said it was beyond that. I asked for a new mattress topper which they supplied so we just had to use it. They did give us some credit back on our room as some sort of compensation. The sofa bed wasn't great for a teenager and was hard with a particularly hard bit across the middle of it. We also found a ring on the carpet in the room and a leather bracelet that belonged to someone else on the bed side table. It just didn't feel clean. We had issues with the toilet on continuous flush and then the handle snapped altogether which meant we couldn't use it although that was fixed promptly when we reported it to reception. Food and alcoholic drinks are expensive but to be expected. Food is canteen style but okay. Great access to Universal parks but nothing else is walkable so taxis or ubers needed. Beach towels available by both pools. Sun loungers are hard plastic. The hotel served it's purpose but we wouldn't return here there are better options.

  Fantastic hotel in great location for Universal parks.

  Another fabulous stay at this great hotel!!! Family of 4 (boys aged 17&16), stayed in a poolside view external suite room. Checking in was slow due to it being a holiday weekend. In advance we had asked to be located in a specific area of hotel which was all sorted out👏. Rooms are ideal for us; 2 beds and a fold out bed in living room with sliding door divider; small kitchen area with sink, microwave, fridge and coffee machine. Room was spotless and housekeeping visited every second day. Public / pools / restaurants / gardens and shops are highly maintained and spotlessly clean! Staff friendly. Location is spot on for Universal park area with short walk to volcano bay next door and about a 12 min walk to parks and city walk. Can’t get a much better location. We used uber and Lyft to get about to other restaurants at Conroy Rd and International Drive and Walmart all about $8-$10 in car each way. Sons used gym as always which was good (but they preferred old equipment from last visit in 2024). Food at restaurants is good but in the main we dined out. This was our 5th visit to this hotel and would not hesitate to go back.

  Both hot tubs closed early for no given reason after a long day at a amusement park.

  Hello, Wanted to get on here and leave a review because me and my wife are currently here and went to one of universals amusement park all day long just to come back to both hot tubs closed! We got down to the pool/hot tub area a little after 8pm seen it was closed and talked to another couple sitting near the hot tub and they said they were also disappointed and they also let me know that the other one on the property was also closed and they got there before us. So I went to the front desk to ask about it with spending almost 3,000 dollars to stay here was pretty let down. After spending all day long walking around a park would be nice to get in the hot tub to relax. But was given a voucher for a drink and an entrée and was given the managers number to text them and when I texted them before 9pm they said the pool closes at dusk that was a lie every single sign I've seen says that the pool areas are open til 10pm or later depending on the day. So if you want a reliable resort id look else where. It just bothered me that they lied.

  Great pool

  Stayed here for 9 nights with my husband and 2 girls. Check in was very quick. We had an internal room near the pool, car park and bus stop. Wasnt that far a walk from the reception etc. Coffee machine was nice although we did buy milk as not keen on creamer. We brought our own shampoo and conditioner. There is shampoo on the wall but i like my own. Beds were comfortable. Room is serviced every 2nd day but can ask for clean towels, more coffee etc. i would prefer if the room was serviced every day though. The hallway carpet could do hovering in the corners as there is dust. There is 2 pool areas (one with a lazy river beside it) and the other with a slide and a toddler play area beside it. You can either buy a ring for the lazy river ( if you do you can hand it back in at the end of your holiday and get a new one in its packaging to take home with you) or bring one with you. There is also 2 hot tubs. There is plenty of seats and towels beside the pools. Volcano bay is right beside the hotel and had its own entrance. Which is fantastic. You get in there 30 minutes before official opening tine. (Every hotel onsite does but you are the closest to the water park). You can buy a hotel mug which does unlimited soft drinks, coffee and hot chocolate for one price. We bought a milkshake on our last day from the shakes bar. It was delicious. The buses can get very busy 1st thing in the morning taking you to the parks. Especially Epic universe. The car park isnt free either. Would definitely stay here again though.
