Turtle Beach was a great experience. This was 4th trip to Barbados and first stay that this resort. I had a king room on the 1st floor overlooking the pool areas. The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet (never heard anything from neighboring rooms). My only concern was the shower had a half glass partition with did nothing from preventing water from flooding the bathroom floor. The WiFi was inconsistent in the room, regularly going in and out making it very frustrating to use the internet. However the WiFi improved when in the main lobby or dining areas. Outside the issues above, the experience was overall enjoyable. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The drinks and food offerings were excellent. I especially liked that they mixed the buffet options up from day to day and offered both local cuisine options and western classics. The evening entertainment was excellent, the singing group VIRGO is not to be missed! The sandy beach was very clean and there were always plenty of lounging options. The ocean water was clear and free from rocks and seaweed, with moderate wave activity for refreshing fun. If you’re lucky you may spot a sea turtle swimming nearby!
Holiday in paradise
We had a fantastic holiday in paradise. 2 weeks of sheer bliss. All inclusive and the food and drink were fantastic. The staff were very friendly and polite and couldn't do enough for you. They just wanted you to have a great holiday. We had a leak in our room and they couldn't fix without causing disruption so they moved us immediately to a upgraded room which was amazing. Cannot thank the staff enough for the great holiday we had. We will b back and I recommend this hotel highly if you want to relax in paradise.
25th Wedding Anniversary
Stayed from 30/5-9/6 and had a lovely stay. Room was great and fantastic view from 4th floor (419) Drinks flowed all day and really friendly staff Food was good especially the Italian (Asiagos) It was pretty quiet here reall especially when a load of guests doing the Barbados rally left in week All in all a great stay and nice touch from the hotel to bring a bottle of bubbly and card to our room on the 4th for our anniversary Private Taxi hotel sorted was superb (Adrian) and lovely car that took us to the Cliff restaurant which if you get the chance then do as well worth it (your wallet won’t enjoy it though 🤣) Met some new friends here and got on really well even if they were half our age!! Only thing we never done was use the other hotels in the chain but maybe next time!! Cheers J&N
Elegance without the glitz & glamour. Satisfying, all inclusive is a perfect way to reconnect. Food deliciously prepared & beautifully presented. Salads, fish, curried meats, fruits & veggies & so much more. Gluten free & vegan options. Dinner served no earlier than 7 pm (we prefer 6 pm), but service & menus worth the wait. Reservations for 7 pm at either of the two onsite restaurants (Asiagos= romantic/ more formal; 'Sandtrap= less formal/ on the beach, literally) must be made the morning before (unless 9 pm dinner suits you). Our ocean view room (clean!) on blue/green waves. Morning walks along the beach before breakfast (no full sunrises or sunsets on the water as location of this hotel preclude both)..but beautiful moon and stars compensate. Bottled water but no San Pellegrino (our preference) so we walked under 2 min to local market near hotel. 33.8 oz (glass) San Pellegrino about $4. Pack a bottle opener as it's not twist off. If you like firm mattress, this King bed would suit you. Loved the oversized chess set on the sand, extra large hot tub, board walk & dancing under the stars to live outdoor local musical talent. Some staff go above & beyond. Shenade: friendly, comprehensive tour the morning after arrival; Janelle: so attentive at Asiagos; Alison took extra time to write the spice we ultimately found & purchased (at the local market); Jacqueline & Janelle: above & beyond to get gluten-free pasta for a dish not labeled GF (compliments to the chef!); Desiree's bubbly personality and sweet smile warmed our hearts; Michelle, Dian & Raymone the Sandtrap exuded positive energy and professionalism. Sherral greeted us for breakfast with great vibes. Upon checkout, Nigel helped clarify the bill and assisted with luggage. We will be back!
Whilst bathrooms could do with a little TLC the hotel was spotless. Could not fault the food which was varied and plentiful, something for everyone. Staff so helpful & friendly, nothing was too much. Bar staff Winsron & Bernadine were fantastic . Fantastic holiday enjoyed by all 11 of us .
