Great dog friendly hotel. Easy to find and check in was a breeze. I called day of my reservation to see if we could check in early and they had a room ready for use by 1030am. Accommodated us for a late check out and parking was easy. We will definitely be coming again.

Given the previous reviews I think expectations were a bit high. We booked a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom room for our stay. The 1 bedroom was ready when we arrived on an early flight which was really appreciated. Unfortunately the promised phone call when the 2 bedroom was ready never happened. The 2 bedroom was a great size for ourselves and our daughter. The beds were comfortable but there was no drawers etc in the bedrooms to unpack into. There was no soundproofing at all between rooms. We could hear every word of every conversation from the adjoining lounge when we were in our bedroom, as well as the TV. Felt like we were constantly eavesdropping! The coffee from the coffee shop was great, pizza and chicken wings around the pool were yummy. We ate in the restaurant once and really enjoyed it. Housekeeping was very hit and miss. Some days the linen, towels and rubbish were done. Sometimes rubbish would be done and nothing else. Was great having towels available for pool and beach. Pool did get very crowded some days. The many kids there seemed to be having a lot of fun. There was live music a few nights while we were there. Location was great. Easy walking distance to beach, heaps of restaurants and Target was just up the road. Having dogs around was fun and cute.

Surfjack is my go-to-hotel in Honolulu!
Surfjack is my go to hotel in Honolulu! It is centrally located in Waikiki and walking distance to everything including great restaurants, the beach, shopping and the fabulous Cirque du Soleil. The hotel itself has a very helpful and friendly staff, beautifully appointed rooms with high quality furnishings such as really comfortable beds, Minka Aire ceiling fans, great air conditioning, a pool, coffee shop and a great restaurant. There was also live music the nights we were there. It’s also pet friendly! I love the vibe!

Loved our stay at Surfjack!
Reception desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Loved our stay here which included access to the lobby pool, $50 credit at Mahina & Sun’s, as well as $20/day offsite parking. Would highly recommend staying at Surfjack since it’s very close to most of key Waikiki restaurants.

The perfect chilled spot in busy Waikiki
The perfect spot to relax in crazy busy Waikiki. Although just a block back from the main strip, you feel miles away in this quiet location. We loved everything about Surfjack. The location, the smaller size of the hotel, the comfortable beds, the on-site restaurant was fantastic, coffee shop was definitely the best in Waikiki, but mostly it was the staff! Everyone was just so friendly and accommodating, especially Hoku, Whitney and Salynda, these 3 girls were a credit to the hotel.
