Dec 01, 2024Wonderful first time at Atlantis - we will return!
We had a wonderful time the entire visit. Our son and granddaughter were fully entertained by the numerous pools, slides, beaches and all were exceptionally maintained. The staff was friendly in all interactions even the maintenance staff we met in the elevator asked us how we were enjoying our visit ... seemed like they genuinely cared about our experience.

Well to be honest, it sucked having to wake up and find out I slept on sheets with dried blood, then called the front desk about it, wait around in my room for the floor manager to stop in and look at the situation, be told it would be handled on my account, upon check out have to inquire about it, and then have to confirm that no, in fact the stain was not my own blood (! pretty rude??) do you really think I would be pulling that kind of scam? I half expected them to pull out my undies to prove it. All that for a lousy $50 off my tab. Yeah, I'm never coming back here. Oh, also the app was terrible/not helpful in a lot of ways. I just don't think I got a good value for my money.

Magical place - excellent for families
I’ve been visiting the Bahamas for 10 years, and Atlantis remains my favorite spot. The resort's grounds are beautifully maintained, offering plenty of space for relaxing walks. The aquariums are absolutely magical and a must-see. The staff is outstanding, especially Ebony and Jade, who went above and beyond to assist with our questions, excursions, and restaurant reservations. The check-in process was seamless, and their exceptional service truly made us feel at home. I highly recommend staying at the Royal Atlantis

Great Resort if you love fees!
Be prepared to be nickel and dimed. VAT FEE ON EVERYTHING 10%. GRATUITY ON EVERYTHING EVEN SHAKE SHACK. We are still trying to figure out what service they provided. Know that service charge really means added gratuity that makes service somewhat poor.

Bait and switch
Amazing staff, but the room left much to be desired. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and attended to. Every interaction—from the front desk to the housekeeping team—was friendly, professional, and truly exceptional. Unfortunately, the room itself was a letdown. I was told at the time of booking that we would be staying in a renovated Presidential Suite. However, upon check-in, I was given the same suite I stayed in over a decade ago. The decor felt outdated, the furnishings showed noticeable wear and tear, and the overall ambiance didn’t match the premium experience I was expecting, especially at this price point. While the suite was spacious and clean, it was clear it hadn’t been refreshed in years, which was disappointing considering the promise of a renovated space. Despite this, the rest of the resort continues to impress. The amenities, dining options, and overall atmosphere remain top-notch, and it’s clear that Atlantis invests heavily in creating memorable guest experiences outside of the rooms. I just wish the same effort was reflected in the accommodations. For the cost and the prestige of staying in a Presidential Suite, I expected more.
