Another fantastic trip
My husband and I just returned from a week stay at The Reserve, Paradisus, Punta Cana. Once again, we had such a fantastic time!! This was our 4th trip to this resort and our experience only continues to get better. The staff at this resort are exceptional and treat their guests with such hospitality, there is absolutely no need for us to look for accommodations elsewhere in Punta Cana. We would like to sincerely thank Hilario Vazquez for all of his efforts towards enhancing our trip. He went above and beyond every day to ensure that our trip was flawless. He did everything from daily check-in’s and rides around the grounds to setting up a special surprise for our nephew and connecting us with a driver to take us shopping in town. His efforts did not go unnoticed and we are truly grateful. We would also like to recognize Juan Diego (reserve pool bar), Luis Parra and Wander Roa (reserve beach bar) for always showing us a great time. They provided superb service and made sure the environment was always fun and energetic! Amazing people!! We remember Juan since we started coming about 7 years ago and he is such a genuine person, we always look forward to seeing him! There were a few changes this time around with the Red Lounge being closed and Gabi beach restaurant under renovation, however there was still plenty of options for food and activities. The service and food at Vento and Fuego was outstanding!! Our waitresses were so attentive and welcoming, they truly made the experience one to remember. Our waitress at Fuego even came out with some coloring pictures and toy cars for our nephew and a special dessert! Until next time, Carlo and Stephanie Lopez
The grounds are impeccably kept, with gorgeous short stroll to the beach. The signs say 7 minutes, but its more like 4. Everything is close on the property. If its rainy, there will be extra shuttles. We never had a problem getting anywhere. Many different food venues to chose from. The pool is gorgeous. But beware the sun is intense! Waterproof SPF 70 is highly recommended. Grab a towel early and find a nice spot to land for the day. The best seat in the house? On the peninsula in the middle of the pool next to the seat with a shade structure over it. It’ll afford you an opportunity to be in the sun when you want, and in the shade when you need to. The rooms are well appointed. We had trouble one day with no hot water, but it was fixed within 50 minutes. No matter, we got up anyway and went on with our day. The maintenance and grounds staff is constantly pruning, trimming, and making sure all things are working. Even working on the pathway lights at night to make sure the guests always found their way. An absolute delight of a staff. We made friends with many of them who shared their country, culture, and drive for excellence. We want to point out Julio Anonte, a Reserve server. Outstanding service, better English than my Spanish. Always made us feel at home. And it was wonderful to sometimes see him serving at the restaurants at night. Go visit Jesus Avelino at the Reserve Swim-up Bar. Ask him about his countries traditional Mamajuana. He’ll remember you the entire stay and greet you with a pleasant smile every time you visit him. We will particularly miss Germania Jose and Christopher from the Reserve Entertainment Crew. They’ll teach you about their country traditions, customs, and show you a little about local life in Punta Cana. Christopher even works in the evening shows as an actor, and will teach you some Latin dances. We spent one afternoon recycling beach towels into bunny rabbits to donate to a local charity for less fortunate children. Great outreach to the community, and a great feeling of being surrounded by family on our vacation. That’s what makes the difference between a good hotel and a great resort!

Beautiful Hotel Amazing Service
The hotel was beautiful and service impeccable! I was there celebrating my graduation from NYU with my mother and they upgraded our room. The food was delicious. The pool and beaches beautiful. The workers were super friendly and always looking to accommodate you with whatever your needs. Server Yesica Almeida and hostess Urvania Lorenzo were always ready with a smile and ready to assist.
