Good hotel with great staff.
First time in Jamaica. Staff were amazing, very friendly. Front desk - Brandon was very knowledgeable and kind. Check in and check was hassle free. Kids loved the water slide. We went snorkeling and the captain Eirik was amazing and co captain Roshan was so great with my little ones.
Quick Get Away
We stayed here from May 15th til the 19th, we thought it would be just as good as the (1) in Curacao but it wasn't. Let me just say the Bathroom was old, no vents so if you close the door expect the steam to cover every inch of the bathroom from Ceiling to Wall. The 🛏 Geeus Christ was a king and you could feel the spring 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 which was not good for me because I have nerve disfunction in my left leg due to siactic my Husband rarely complains and this trip even he was hurting , Im still sore and I am home now. The pool water was not appleaing to me so I didn't get in the whole time I was there. The buffet was okay, they ran out dishes to often u had to wait, the table turn over time is to slow, so you have wait for some1 to clean the table, (1) side cloth napkins, the next paper napkins, I was not pleased & too many flies. All in all Im a traveler use to ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ or at least 4 1/2 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ this resort did not cut the mush for me. Wait let me at least say this it was a very clean resort. I would not reccommend to my friends. And we travel alot & this is our 7th time coming to 🇯🇲 , but this resort won't 👁👁 us again.
Good hotel with great staff but stay away from the shop at all costs
This is an entry level hotel so don’t expect the Hilton. On saying that it exceeded all my expectations. The staff were great and friendly. The food was a little repetitive and probably aimed at the American market but on the whole good to great. All the staff were friendly beyond their job description. We met some friends we had never met that kinda made the holiday. The entertainment staff are a laugh and very entertaining again a bit repetitive due to most American people staying only a short time. A bit disappointed with the restaurants being closed some nights limiting the choice but when you got food from them the food was exceptional. One thing I must warn any traveler outing their head down here is the absolute rip off from the shops in the hotel. And although the hotel claims they have no control over this I think this is a cop out. We bought two thermos cups from the shop first day at an advertised cost of $32 each ( bear in mind the very same cups in the town can be bought for $15 each) we put this in our room tab. On checkout our tab came to a total of $105. This included sun cream at a cost of $22 ( again over twice the price of in town) total for the three items should have been $86. THE HOTEL ADVISE YOU ITS DANGEROUS TO SHOP IN TOWN. By doing this they are fooling folk into paying 100% over the odds and then more. Shame on you!!!!!!! Amstar will hook you up with a shopping trip for any of your nick nacks and essential gifts at a fraction of the cost and that includes your taxi down town. Don’t be fooled by the danger stories
Save your time and money
Horrible service, no towels in room and no knowledge of drinks. Water was scarce. The staff seemed to not care or had no knowledge. The lounging chairs at pool were worn out. Very little relaxation or comfort at
