A great hotel! A great way to start our honeymoon!
I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and although they are undergoing some renovations they were super accommodating and friendly! The staff working at the hotel are amazing and super helpful! Especially, Robin who works upstairs in the Leahi Club and Narta who works the front desk. They couldn’t have been nicer!! If you are looking for a relaxing and friendly hotel this is it! Both adults and families can enjoy the resort. I would definitely come back. The location is great and hotel is super clean.
Relaxing evening drinks
We were staying in Waikiki in another hotel and decided to visit an upmarket hotel for evening drinks We sat outside near the pool.It was very relaxing and had a couple of drinks. It was late in the evening so the restaurant was closed and we had to settle for mixed nuts! The waiter was friendly and obliging. A bit pricey $25 with tip for a drink each and nuts.
Another enjoyable stay at the Sheraton Waikiki!
We spent the first week of June at the Sheraton Waikiki. My husband and I stayed there five years ago for our anniversary. Given all of the recent reviews regarding construction at the property, we were hesitant to book this property again for our June trip, but took a gamble because we love the location and ambiance of the Sheraton Waikiki. My husband has Platinum status, so we booked a city view room and were upgraded to a room on the 14th floor with a lovely view of Diamond Head and the beach. I don't think this room had been refurbished yet, as it was identical to the room we had for our stay in 2014, but it was clean with everything in good repair. Other than some minor construction on our floor the last two days of our stay, we never even noticed any disruptions due to the on-going renovations. The location of this property is fantastic - right in the heart of so many shopping and dining options all within a short walking distance. The two pools are relaxing, and there's a beach right out from the pool where you can swim in the ocean. We had a rental car, and the parking garage was easily accessible from the hotel. We only had trouble finding an available parking spot twice, and finally found one on the top floor. If you self-park, be careful of parking larger cars in spaces marked "compact" or not parking within the lines. We saw multiple people doing so and they received red parking violation warnings, which was appreciated, given the limited availability of parking spots. Before the merge of SPG Hotels and Marriott, self-parking was included in the mandatory resort fee when we stayed back in 2014, but we were a bit disappointed that it is now a separate charge almost equal to the daily resort fee. In our opinion, one of the absolute gems of this property is the Leahi Club Lounge! You cannot beat the views, and the continental breakfast, evening hors d'oeuvres, and complimentary beer and wine are such a nice touch. Be sure to check out the machine that lets you make your own pancakes! We got lounge access because of my husband's Platinum status, but would gladly pay an additional fee for lounge access if he did not receive it as a perk. It's so nice to grab a bite to eat in the morning, or relax with a glass of wine and take in the breathtaking views before heading to dinner. The staff in the lounge is very pleasant, attentive, and helpful, too. We love the Sheraton Waikiki and can't wait to return again!
The views are wonderful.
We stayed delux ocean front.Diamond heads was seen every day.The pool was very nice because adult only. The hotel's pizza was delicious.
I am reviewing the complimentary Aqua Yoga class.
The Class was held in the Infinity Pool and was really fabulous. The pool was warm and very relaxing. The Instructor Mossimo was great, very knowledgeable and helpful. It was a wonderful experience and I plan to go back when I can and I've been telling all my friends how much I enjoyed it and it really was a good workout also. It's a great way to exercise and you can not beat the fabulous view of the ocean. We were staying at the Royal Hawaiian next door, so I'm not rating the Sheraton rooms, but since we were staying at the Royal Hawaiian these amenities were available to us.
