Great hotel but full of SCAMS.
First of all the hotel is good, clean and staff is friendly. That being said: 1. There are people are everywhere bugging you to sell stuff which is very annoying. 2. A luxury hotel should not promote these things where the servers are not letting people relax and just trying to sell stuff such as wine a priority seat in restaurant. 3. Selling membership is fine but they literally get to your nerves if you say No. 4. Facilities are good if you be rude then servers leave you alone else you are in for a much of botheration from sellers.

Our new favorite resort!
We had such an amazing time at this resort. Between the great rooms, the servers at the restaurants and the pools, and the beautiful views, we decided this was our favorite Secrets Resort! We loved everything about it. The preferred club was included with the Hyatt Globalist status, while we definitely enjoyed it, I don't know what the cost would have been or if it would have been worth paying for if you didn't have it.

Great experience and the best bar tenders we meet!
All staffs are friendly and smiling! Concierge staffs help us a lot- tracking our luggage, finding our lost glasses, contacting the tour company and helping us catching the bus. They are always willing to help! Our VIP butler is always greeting for us when she meet with us everyday. EDUARDO and ABRAHAM, these two bar tenders in Piano area are so nice. We went there and just want to take a seat, Eduardo greeted us very quickly and he gave us a special and gorgeous drink. He is great and he made our day. Secrets the vine is a wonderful hotel to stay with!

A very relaxing bday trip!
We are on our last day at the resort. We stayed in room 2324, preferred suite jr oceanfront. Loud AC noise below, but the views far outweigh that. The room is very comfortable and it has everything you need with robes, slippers, toothbrush, safe, etc. Housekeeping and turndown met and exceeded our expectations. Staff are friendly and happy to help with any questions or needs. Being a member had its perks with access to the preferred areas, we enjoyed this and are glad we splurged. This hotel does not take reservations, which can be a positive, but also a negative on busy nights. Be early before a restaurant opens to ensure you get a spot...or you can show later, they will add you under the APP and msg once your table is free (something we had no idea about until our 3rd night as we waited over 2 hrs for a table). The food is excellent and there is no lack of it at the buffets. Always being re-stocked. One super minor issue we had, which is a first world problem...we ordered fish tacos & chips/guac on the beach at 2:30pm for our lunch. We were told it would take 30-45min...we kept inquiring as time passed, but the staff member just laughed, giving us no real answer. At 4:45pm we saw the same staff member receive food to the beach bar...we watched as he and other staff ate it. I want to note that we tip and tip well. When he came over we politely asked where our food was. He said it was delivered to someone behind us earlier in the afternoon....we knew that was a lie. When spending as much as you spend at a resort like this one, you cannot help but be a little bitter at being treated the way we were that day on the beach. Other than that very minor incident, we are grateful and happy we chose this resort. We read negative reviews about upselling, we only encountered this a handful of times and if you are polite yet firm, its not a problem. Thanks you to all the incredible staff, you made my bday trip a very luxurious and memorable experience!
