Oct 06, 2024Amazing stay at Secret St. James Preferred club in Montego Bay,
A wonderful stay at this beautiful location and a warm Jamaican welcome and total relaxation and first class service from our amazing Butlers and now friends. We are so sad to be leaving and recommend Secret St. James preferred club. Tajae and Dawin made our stay so special with the little extra touches, always having the perfect spot on the beach with ice cold beers, sparkling champagne, waters and sodas and delicious snacks. We had the most perfect dinner reservations and experiences thanks to Tajae and Dawin’s recommendations. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the saying “no problem” really resonates here. Tajae and Dawin always welcomed us with a warm handshake and a big smile. We cannot wait to come back. Great live bands and shows and good choice of good, premium liquors in the preferred club, party if you want to or just chill and take in the carribean sea views and stunning sunsets. If you don’t snorkel, no worries because the water is so clear and warm you just look down at your feet and see an abundance of fish. This morning the hummingbirds waved their wings goodbye to us, the peacock popped it’s head out and the mockingbirds sang us their farewell song. We leave this place with great memories and new friendships made.. we will be back for sure

Oct 05, 2024I would come back, but it’s not as high of standards as it used to be
My husband and I stayed here when we were dating (2012) we came back for our 11 year anniversary. Some things had definitely changed, maybe since Hyatt took over. Before, the staff went above and beyond to be friendly and attentive. The staff was still lovely, but not like they used to be. The room was clean and the view was to die for. Some of the plugs in the room didn’t work. You’re not going to get 5 star restaurants, but we had some lively meals at Portofino and Altitudes (top of Breathless) Cocos cafe had amazing coffee and Erica was the sweetest! The entertainment crew was awesome as well, but no one was better than Ashley.

You have to go at least once
Best resort ever! Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice rooms. Food was excellent. Stayed in the Swim Out room which included a butler. Room was cleaned and restocked daily. The butlers, Dane and Chase, were so helpful, kind and anticipatory of my needs.

Very Best experience at Secrets Montego Bay!
Very nice resort. Very clean. Rooms are fabulous, clean with excellent turndown service every day 2 times a day. Room service late night was great! Beds very soft and comfortable. It's a absolutely beautiful resort! No complaints! Staff is fun! Bellman was great and customer service was excellent! The views. Entertainment was excellent. High quality food, service and amenities! We will only stay there when in Jamaica!

The best location , the best staff , unlimited food and drinks , no screaming kids .....its the place to go !
This hotel and its staff are something Special , genuinely the people couldn't do more for you and the location is stunning. probably the best beach i have used and the marine life is just superb. It was my wife's birthday and two members of staff went the extra mile Chase and Dane. if you ever meet them you will see just how these guys make your vacation that much better. 10/10 guys thank you.
