The guys at the bar by the main pool were absolutely fabulous. Couldn’t be better. We’ve traveled all over and I got to tell you they were second to none. Alex at Oceana, our waiter was hospitable and a total professional. A wonderful experience. I would recommend it to anyone.

Pleasant, relaxing time!
The food was so delicious, the mussels were the best I’ve ever tried. The place is beautiful, especially after sunset. The staff was great, Alex our server was awesome, so friendly and welcoming, he made our night amazing. It’s worth it to try.

Oct 05, 2024Bad experience for our stay in Secret Spa and Resort in Los Cabos
The stay in Secret was a big disappointment, we paid close to 5 hundred dollars more for the swim out pool room with a ocean view, but the pool was so small that you can't even stretch out your hands on more part of it, it doesn't connect to the main pool or anything, plus there were a lot of flies and mosquitos since all the swim out rooms are located on the ground floor. The ocean was so far away, you can barely see it in your room. They switched out the room for us to a normal higher level room but they don't offer any refund for the extra that we paid for the swim out room. Food and beverages was not good, most of the food and drinks taste weird, the Habachi chef in Himitu was good. All the servers were good except one lady in Oceana who works at the front check in receptionist, she won't let us sit with the ocean view table even though they have a lot of them available because she said that we were a party of 3 people and the ocean view tables only have 2 chairs, and she refused to put one more chair to the table, the server was nice, he told us that maybe he can let us sit down on the ocean view table to have dessert later at the dinner, we didn't stay until the end of the dinner because the food was so bad. We went to the Mexican restaurant for dinner around 10pm, the restaurant closes at 11pm, the check in staff was not very willing to seat us, there were a lot of empty tables inside and outside of the restaurant and he made us wait about 15 minutes before he let us in. The server was excellent but the food was terrible. We ordered the room service for our breakfast on the second day, but it didn't come in, we called them and they said they didn't have the order and it's going to take 45 minutes for them to get the breakfast ready after we have waited for an hour. Not much entertainment at the resort, most of the area are not shaded, really humid and hot, lots of mosquitos and flies, no air conditioning in the only elevator that we use to go up to our room, the beach was not swimmable, the pool didn't look clean. Both my husband and daughter got a stomachache and diarrhea on the last day of our stay. We will not come back for this resort for sure!

Great place overall, so much fun!
I really enjoyed my stay. The food and drinks were great. The room was clean and perfect every time. The entertainment team was great! Alessandra, Frankie, Ivan, Andrea and the rest of the entertainment crew were so much fun, very personable, outgoing, and accommodating. I felt like I was treated like family. They worked hard to keep things going all day, not just the nightly shows, but events and activities daily. Water aerobics and volleyball, ping pong, karaoke, casino nights, all of it. It was a great resort overall, places to relax and have quiet time, or keep the party going all day if you wanted. Pretty beach views and a lot more.

Manny is the best
Beautiful resort! Great food and so fun to explore around! You can go on a walk without even leaving the report! Lots to do, but definitely far from town if that is your cup of tea. Perfect relaxing getaway! The pool is super warm and everyone is incredibly nice! Manny is the best!
