I’ll be back
I love the vibes. Food was great ambience was amazing. Feels like you’re in Greece. Alex was so friendly so kind and attentive. We had the best time! Service was awesome. Anything you can imagine you can order. I’ll be back, I would highly recommend this place to anybody coming to this resort

Delicious cuisine & outstanding staff!
The location of Secrets Puerto Los Cabos is what sets this resort apart from others. While this was a solo trip this go around, we travel here at least a couple of times a year. You are far away enough to feel the tranquility of Mexico yet close enough to San José del Cabo to take in the gorgeous streets and wonderful world class restaurants. Special shoutouts to the main pool staff Genner, Juan, Sonia, Ramiro and Miguel...and to Fernando for keeping everyone entertained while mixing the best cocktails at the Barracuda Bar! Coco Cafe is a main staple 24/7 and the morning staff (I can't recall her name) is a true gift. She always remembers us and we look forward to catching up each day. The grounds in general are stunning, the cuisine is always top notch with Himitsu consistently being the highlight - the rooms are wonderful but could use a little refresh.

One of the best trips of my life!
This experience completely changed my outlook on vacations. I’ve never considered myself a beach girl and I’d never done an all-inclusive before, and after the luxury of this trip I am a huge fan of both. My husband and I cannot wait to return, and my only regret is that we couldn’t spend more nights there to try every restaurant. The food, service, drinks, and maintenance of the resort were five stars every step of the way. I felt completely pampered from start to finish. Imagine waking up to an ocean view room with a big, fluffy robe and slippers, ordering complimentary room service, and listening to the ocean. Throw on a swimsuit and head downstairs to the infinity pool overlooking the ocean where a friendly server will keep the drinks coming without ever requiring you to get out. Head back to your room and take a shower and dress for dinner. Grab a drink at the rendezvous bar and amble over to whichever incredible restaurant you feel like eating at that night, where you’ll be served with the level of service you’d expect from a $200/pp restaurant. Order whatever you want, there’s no bill coming. Head to desires for a nightcap and round of pool or karaoke. Walk back to your room in the well-lit beautifully maintained grounds and head to sleep. If you feel like an extra drink, the mini bar is stocked and part of your all-inclusive package. Wake up and do it all again! Photo of us with the gorgeous view off the main lobby. If you’re on the fence, just book it! Going back to real life was a harsh reality after the actual decadence of Secrets Cabo.

Oceana - Secrets
Alex was amazing! Exceptional food and atmosphere! The special (sea bass) was very good! Octopus was also very good. Alex anticipated our needs and provided everything for a fantastic dinner. Our favorite restaurant/experience so far while staying at Secrets!

Incredible experience for Preferred Members
Stayed here for 6 days for my honeymoon. Here are the pros: 1. The entertainment team! Miguel, Marianna, Ivan, Axel, and Del Mar we’re so much fun to be around. The activities that they organize are super fun. I’d recommend the bike tour, water volleyball, and the cooking class. It’s a good way to break up the days so you aren’t just sitting in the pool the whole time. 2. The food at el Patio (the Mexican restaurant) is phenomenal. We went here 3 times during our stay and ordered something new each time. It was all delicious. 3. The room service and housekeeping teams are excellent. Room service is included, which was nice for our first morning there so we could sleep in. The housekeepers kept track of every bar of soap, nespresso pod, and shower cap we used and replenished them each day (sometimes even twice a day). The attention to detail was impressive. Other honorable mentions: good wifi, great bathrobes, excellent service for drinks at the pool, pretty views of the ocean and mountains, quiet atmosphere, good mix of offered activities/excursions. Now for the cons: 1. The beach is beautiful but NOT swimmable. You’ll need to Uber to a public beach to swim. It’s not too hard or expensive, but it does create a barrier. 2. This is not the place to party. I didn’t mind how quiet it was, but if you’re looking for a late night scene, this is not your spot. 3. There are 2 pools advertised on the website. The nicer of the two is ONLY for preferred members. This wasn’t mentioned to us anywhere prior to booking or at check in. Instead, we went to the pool on the first day and settled into chairs before being escorted out by staff (which was super embarrassing). He told us that the chairs we were in were only for preferred members. We took this to mean that the pool was fine, just not the section of chairs we chose. The next day we were kicked out again, this time just from the pool. There is not adequate signage to explain this rule, and absolutely no where was it mentioned to us by the front desk at check in or on the website at booking. There is also a nice restaurant with the best view at the resort that is only open to preferred members for breakfast. Again, no one mentioned this until we tried to go and we were turned away. The one hot tub on the property is also only for preferred members. There are 2 other bars on the property that are only for preferred members, too. If you book a stay here without upgrading to be a preferred member, be ready to be ushered around and kicked out of amenities that were advertised to you on the website and at the front desk. If we had known, we would’ve just spent the money to be in the preferred class. We didn’t even have the option to upgrade once we were there, so we simply couldn’t access half of the resort we paid for. In summary: this place is beautiful. It’s a great all-inclusive for a more relaxed vacation. If you book here, go ahead and shell out the money for the preferred club. If you do that, you’ll have a wonderful experience. If you don’t opt for that, make the most of it but don’t go into the preferred member areas unless you want to be dragged out in front of everyone.
