Jan 24, 2025A good getaway to Cabo with some good and bad
We loved our room but only because we paid to upgrade to ocean front. Sitting in our hot tub while whale watching was definitely the highlight of the trip. The partial ocean view room overlooked a sports common area and was a bit loud for us. I don't really want to sit in my hot tub on the balcony and watch people running around. Not to mention, you could barely see a glimpse of the ocean. The preferred check in area was nice but the food was just okay and it was the same thing every day. We really liked the food and menu at the Asian restaurant but service was painfully slow both nights. Oceana was also very tasty and the service was definitely better. Buffet for breakfast was adequate. We ordered room service for breakfast one day and it took almost an hour and the food was cold when it arrived. We enjoyed the preferred pool area but service was hit or miss. After eating, it was almost two hours before someone came around to pick up our plates. But they came around quite a bit to take drink orders. Overall, I'd say for an all inclusive, the food was good but I've stayed in much better places in Cabo. The buildings here seem very old and the layout just isn't great unless you pay for an oceanfront room.

Top notch adults only all inclusive. Excellent service and food. Name brand alcohol. Older, more mellow crowd, which is exactly what we were looking for. My 4th time at a Secrets resort and my 2nd time at this property. I’ll be back, guaranteed.

Absolutely worth the trip!
Where to start…. This trip has been the most memorable one! Everyone has gone above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. We were surprised with a romantic dinner at Oceana, Chef Josselyn surpassed all expectations with her dishes, Vladimir the manager on duty was absolutely on point making sure we were comfortable and tended to all our needs, Franco and Analy were both amazing at their craft and we are beyond grateful to have had the pleasure of being sat at their table. Thank you again team Secrets and Team Oceana for an incredible night. I’d be remiss if I did not mention a few more details. Karla another manager at Oceana was incredible and paid attention to the smallest details, Carlos at the preferred lounge was so dedicated to his role in making sure we were treated so well, and Alvaro went even more above and beyond by making sure our days at the preferred pool were memorable. I can gush all day about this place. So happy we came back here again!

Jan 23, 2025Girls Weekend 50th Birthday Celebration!
Overall our weekend was fabulous! We’ve been to a couple all-inclusives, and there were a few things that bothered me that I had higher expectations for. We were a party of 6 and we found it hard to get seated at the restaurants without a reservation. They don’t take advance reservations like other resorts. Also, in regards to the poolside food. Portions are very small, especially the salads. Burger was very average and quite honestly hard to stomach. The chips, guacamole, tacos and quesadillas were the safest, most consistent choice, so we stuck with that. The BEST PART OF OUR WEEKEND….Was definitely our poolside server ABEL! He was such a sweet, hard working guy and made our experience so fun and memorable.

Best Vacation
Had a great experience from the pool, to food, to entertainment. Special shout-out to Ivan, Miguel, and Axel for all the activities and games! Kept us well entertained and gave us plenty of recommendations to keep us busy and relaxed. Would highly recommend to anyone.
