Fabulous resort!
Beautiful resort and professional staff. Had a great experience with wonderful entertainment, amenities, food, and spa. Preferred club was fantastic too. Highly recommend!

We stayed there from December 30 to January 6. The only good part of our vacation was weather and ocean. Terrible food!!! Tasteless, no assortment, no fruits, juices, cheese, bottle water at all!!! Worst place we’ve eaten ever. No decent drinks/alcohol. Even in preferred club.

Jan 16, 2026Resort has potential, but don’t waste your money staying here
The resort has a lot of potential, but unfortunately did not meet our expectations. For starters, this is not a beach resort, so if you’re thinking of coming here to enjoy the beach, you will not. The resort does set up a handful of chairs for guests, but you will not have waitered service. It’s also technically a public beach so there will be families and people trying to sell you things while you’re relaxing. However, the main pool, aka the “party pool,” does not have enough chairs or cabanas to accommodate the number of guests it can hold, so if you’re not down there before 9am, you’re out of luck and have to traverse to the other side of the resort (which is situated on a mountain) for a quieter, less well maintained pool (which isn’t as big of a problem if your room is closer to that pool, but ours wasn’t). Now for the worst of it: the food. I’ve stayed at Hyatt resorts before and usually the food is fantastic, but 80% of the food here is awful. If you find something yummy, you’ll only be eating that for the rest of your stay. And the drinks were just okay. Being part of the preferred club isn’t as luxurious at it sounds. We were told we could book a cabana one day early, but they were always booked up, even if I called at 7:30am. We also lost our one and only cabana because we weren’t told we had to be there before 11:30am and management wouldn’t do anything about it, so they allow other guests to claim it. This was also our honeymoon trip and we were a little disappointed we didn’t get anything additional. We were given coupons for the spa, a romantic dinner or a bottle of wine — thanks, but no thanks. On the plus side, the staff were very nice and tried their best to accommodate us. However, I would spend my money on a resort vacation elsewhere.

A so so resort. Nothing to really complain about but nothing over the top. Have to say staff is great and eager to please. Shout-out to Thannya who found me out to return a phone left in coffee shop. Thank you. Would return but gonna require good pricing to make that happen. Beware if your not a good walker. Shuttles are abundant and quick but you still need to be mobile to some degree.
- AdvisoryStudent Groups (Spring Breakers) are not permitted at this hotel. A student group consist of those that travel without parent supervision or a responsible adult in each room.
