Feb 18, 2025Beautiful property with an excellent team!
We had a wonderful experience on our recent trip to Secrets Moxche. Beautiful property with so many things to do. Entertainment: We had a wonderful time with the entertainment team, they had excellent daily activities, Sergio was so helpful on our first day helping us find all of the activities in the Hyatt app and showing us the daily upcoming ones. We did so many different entertainment activities including painting tote bags with Aranza and Estefania, daily water aerobics (each class was different and full of laughs. Aranza even found us one morning and made us all friendship bracelets. We did the bike ride with Regina and Ilse and saw all around the property and learned about the Mayan story of the Chechen and the Chaca trees, and Aluxes. We were there for both the super bowl and Roads through Mexico, both were huge celebrations throughout the resort. Overall the entertainment team did a great job adding to the fun of vacation. Coco Cafe: excellent service, tons of options for snacks, drinks, and gelato, open 24hrs. Special thank you to Luis for my daily iced matchas. Restaurants/Food: We had sit down meals at Ember, Bisou, and Seasoul, all were absolutely excellent. Most mornings we had breakfast at the outlook observatory on the roof (preferred club access), beautiful views and wonderful quick service, our favorites were the French babka and the Acai Bowl. And of course Market Cafe had so many options for breakfast and lunch. There was constantly an option for food or beverage, taco trucks late at night, and the food for the Roads through Mexico was excellent. Pools: BEAUTIFUL and so many to choose from, tons of chairs available even with a large Miluakee conference going on. Wait staff and pool attendants were extremely helpful. David and Danny each morning helped with umbrellas and tables, and made nice little towel pillows for our chairs. Wait staff including Consuela, Noe, and Alberto were so fast and constantly offering fresh drinks. Room: our room was in the main building 3, easy access to preferred club, the only downside was on the 6th floor we couldn’t walk across to visit my parents easily, we had to go up one floor to cross to the other side of the building and then go back down to access the other side of building 3. Member Services: We didn’t receive our typical Welcome email from Member Services,this was a first for us being UVC members for 7 years now so I had emailed and called asking if they needed this information a few times in the week leading up to the trip. I didn't get a response until they called the morning of our reservation and were very apologetic and were quick to right this as it was a big trip (2 birthdays, anniversary, and our first use of our Impressions membership) Mercedes and Omar were lovely in welcoming us and being sure we weren’t disappointed for the lack of communication leading up to the trip. They made sure to arrange something for birthdays/anniversaries and our door was overloaded with banners. Omar checked in with us at the room the next day to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a beautiful view of the Lagoon and basically the entire property. Overall the room was beautiful and spacious. Private bathroom, with an actual door that closed (my husband appreciated this) Hydrotherapy: WE LOVE HYDROTHERAPY, so we were very excited to try this at the spa, which one hydro was complimentary and included with our preferred privileges. Marlene walked us through the circuit, they had by far the hottest sauna and steam room and the coldest plunge pool I’ve ever experienced. It was beautiful and very relaxing!

Great for a couples trip!
Beautiful resort with plenty of places to relax. Felt busy enough that it had a fun vibe but not too busy you couldn’t enjoy everything. We were able to get spots at the pool every day, and no problems getting into the restaurants. The staff is lovely and very kind. They go above and beyond. Aranza and Sergio were so much fun with pool games and bingo. Highly recommend!

Secrets Moxche, best in Mexico!
Sergio and Aranzia were amazing! Staff like them make Secrets Moxche worth going to! Top class, doesn’t get better. What a beautiful resort, best Secrets in Mexico. Staff, food and the grounds are spectacular. If you are in the fence about booking, don’t be! Just book it.

Best yet for Secrets in our my opinion and excellent service minus forgetful concierge. The multi pools and comfy beach
Excellent location, accommodation and service, 🙌. Rooms best yet in the UVC secret series and favorite over previous 6 stays with UVC. Restaurant easy access and choices for all likes. Favorite is Seasoul with Eduardo and Wendy taking care of us. The blueberry French toast there to die for and all ceviche and tacos superb. A sure return.

Best stay of Playa del Carmen
The entertainment team was amazing! Ilse, Aranza,Sergio, Julio, Cristian, Daniela, Gabriela, Regina, Jessica, and Monica did a wonderful job at making sure we had tons of fun during our stay. The most energetic and friendliest team I’ve met. Definitely recommend staying here for any type of getaway. Victor, pool concierge, was also very attentive and helpful. He did a great job at making sure our experience at Secrets Moxché was unforgettable. Thank you to the entertainment team and staff! Will definitely be back in the future.
