Just wow this resort was absolutely amazing. We arrived with our family to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and what made it so special was All the staff . Every staff member from checkin to restaurant, bar , beach , chefs were so friendly, warm and kind. Luis at front desk was welcoming . Madeline at the pool was super efficient. But Rihanna & Beyoncé from entertainment team were the best made us laugh and involved in all the activities. We will definitely return and say this trip was one to remember due to all the hardworking, super friendly staff . Plus loved my coffees & cakes from the cafe again amazing staff. Food was on point.

Absolutely amazing resort
Wow! We were here Jan 2-8 for our 30th anniversary. It was SPECTACULAR!! We had 2 minor hiccups — AmStar did not have our arrival reservation (but they quickly remedied this issue) and our room didn’t have hot water one evening (quickly repaired by maintenance). The great things: - CARLOS - in a word…AMAZING. He met our every need, sometimes before we knew we needed it. He would say “Carlos is always around.” And he was. - Bali Bed - what a great day to spend a day on the beach. Vanessa was super attentive. Would do it again. Unfortunately little to no WiFi on the beach. Didn’t affect my stay out there, but my husband likes to be connected. He was forced to just read. - room 7105 - PERFECT - we had a “Preferred Club Master Suite Swim Out Ocean Front” - it was a huge corner suite with an amazing view. It was right next to the main pool and Manatees bar, so there was lots of activity and music, but we kind of enjoyed being “near” the hubbub, but not in it. The pool staff would walk over to me when I was floating to grab my drink order. They had it memorized after Day 1! It was also very centrally located near everything. We kept our AC on frigid too! - food - we used room service every day and enjoyed everything. The only thing that was not too notch, the waffles. The club sandwich was the best! Portofino’s was our favorite restaurant. Omar is the best! We had special table decor both nights and the best service. The lasagna really is amazing. Bordeaux was good too. We just preferred Portofino’s. Himitsu was also very good. We sat at the outside table and enjoyed the show by our chef. We tried Rosewater for breakfast once. It was okay. Nothing spectacular. We had Oceana on our first night. The fish croquettes were good, but our entrees were only so-so. Coco Cafe did make me a delicious peanut butter-chocolate shake too. - Queen show - so much fun! Wish we wouldv’e seen some of the other shows too. - the staff - every where we went on property, the staff were fantastic! Very attentive and kind. My husband walked the property every day (about 12k worth of steps) and became a favorite with the front staff to say hello. Housekeeping staff were kind and thorough. Things we were glad we packed: - metal straws and insulated cups -pool hammock floats (but probably could’ve snagged some from departing guests). I used mine every day -$2 bills for tips Can’t say enough good things about our stay. Beautiful property. Can’t wait to return. This was our first stay at a Secrets and in Dominican Republic

Pricey for whats offered. Spa additional and pricey. Rooms just average. Not a lot of entertainment. Cafes had weird hours. No watersports, etc. Food average. Had to pay additional $194 for bottle of wine. Couples massage $460 additional.

Second wonderful trip
We came back for our second time to Cap Cana due to the wonderful service we had last time and this time just as wonderful as we remember! Jeison and all the staff were there whenever we needed them! Can’t say enough great things about this resort! We will come home again!

Jan 10, 2025Wonderful Winter family getaway!
This was our second experience with a Dreams/Secrets all inclusive. Secrets Cap Cana in Punta Cana was so much better all around. The food was better, the music and entertainment was better and the staff were better! Our comfort, enjoyment and all the little details were made even better by Anibal. Anibal took care of any issues, provided us with all the information we needed daily, made all our reservations, got to know each person in our family group and checked in just the right amount without hovering. This was a great way to make enduring memories with our adult children. The Havana Nights dinner on the beach was a special night and an incredible experience. The grounds were beautiful. I would recommend Secrets Cap Cana to others and return myself.
