Mar 23, 2025Great friends vacation
Beds are comfortable and the room was always cleaned. We never went hungry, a good variety of restaurants to eat at. We went with 2 other couples and always had something to do or see. We went during St. Patrick’s week and they had fun things planned. Snorkeling is good in front of the resort. Also, make sure to bring water shoes, it is rocky getting into the water. If Adrian from Adrian Cozumel is hanging out in his boat, be sure to take him up on a snorkel tour, it is great.

Wonderful place to spend with very special people. We loved it!!
We had a wonderful time celebrating our big birthdays. The staff was so friendly and treated us great. We enjoyed all of the shows and the activities provided by the staff. The waiters and bartenders were pleasant and always willing to help.

Despite all the bad reviews, we had a great vacation. Perfect weather and We were lucky to have been placed in a new renovated building villa 42, rooms are very nice and comfortable. The food was very good and the Entertainment and shows at night were nice as well. We stayed at Secrets and we had access to Sunscape and Dreams through a man-made trail along the beach. Within minutes you were in both other Resorts, with options of plenty of restaurants. One of the things I’ve noticed as a frequent traveler to all your other resorts that the service lacked personality, the preferred lounge employees were the worst, they worked like they did not want to be bothered, and the ambience and liquor was very poor. They offer no top shelf liquor. Thank God for a few employees that went above and beyond and made our stay in Secrets Cozumel memorable. Oceana: ADRIAN thank you for all you did. Your service and personality was top notch. From day one we were lost, and he took the time to give us a short tour and even took the elevator to show us around. His service in The Restaurant was outstanding, he made us feel like family. Keep up the great work Adrian . Market Cafe: ROSANA and KENIA, thank you for your great service and starting our mornings every day with a smile. You will never be forgotten. I recommend renting a car for one day and going around the island. You can do this all in one day lots of beautiful spots to stop and view and great restaurants as well. Spa: we had a pleasant experience doing Hydro therapy. I wish I remembered his name. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant taking his time to explain every step of the way. FYI don’t waste your money buying Floaties. There are plenty of Floaties around the Resort from guest that leave them behind. Overall we would definitely return.

Give Secrets Aura Cozumel a try!
We LOVE this place! Sure, some of the resort needs updating but that is more than made up for in the great dining options, especially if your in the exclusive club and can visit Dreams and Seascape. I highly recommend Luis the sommelier as someone to meet! Also, incredible snorkeling right off the beach coupled with unlimited excursions and activities make for endless fun! Cozumel is not the party scene some other resorts/destinations are, but it's the perfect mix of activities, friendly outgoing staff, and beautiful beached that keeps us coming back!

All and all this resort was the worst. Very run down, only some of the rooms were updated. Food was ok, but not a nice selection. Most of the people were not helpful. I could go on!! Not sure about this UVC membership. The biggest problem is I had a staff member raise their voice at me and my wife.
