This was our first time in Cabo and we stayed here for a week and had the time of our lives. The staff was amazing, Lupita and Adrianna were outstanding. The room was great and the beds super comfy. The only complaint we have is that our room wasn't cleaned every day and we had to ask for towels. We left a tip on the pillow, the tip was gone and the room was not cleaned or straightened up. Besides that issue we will be back next year.
We just got married here and the wedding staff and every detail was fabulous. Everything was great with the rooms and the service in the hotel as well. However the elevators are horrible and really need to be fixed. This was a real problem throughout our trip especially for family and friends who have a hard time with stairs.
Wish I could rate higher
We came here for 5 nights on a time-share presentation. As I kept experiencing service at a level less than I am accustomed to, kept telling myself to remember what we paid ($399) I don’t want to sound like a whiner, because the people here are very friendly and the food is very good. The Spa is incredible, but the accommodations are worse than Motel 6. The sheets in the bed are paper thin and clingy, there is no furniture in the room besides two beds, a nightstand with two drawers and a desk/table under the wall mounted TV. There are no chairs or a couch in the room. The mini-fridge doesn’t work. When we notified the front desk that there was no hair dryer in the room, a young man was sent up with a brand new, boxed, wall mount hairdryer. This strange contraption has sat on the counter in the sink area the whole time we have been here. The days are nice here, sitting by the pool or eating in the restaurants, but when you go back to your room, there is no comfortable place to sit. One can only lay in bed or sit on a bed for so long. It is my understanding that Sandos bought this property a few years ago. They appear to have invested in the restaurants and landscaping while skimping on the rooms. One other thing, the pools are nice and the beach is gorgeous, but if you want to swim in the sea, you need to go somewhere else. Because of the strong undercurrent the beach is closed to swimming. Bottom line is this, I would like to have given 4 stars, but the room and its lack of and quality of furnishings make me give this only 3 stars.

Feels like Home
Sandos Finsterra is a great resort at a great price. It does not have all the amenities that you might find at more expensive resorts but what it lacks is made up by the wonderful staff who go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful.
