Amazing food, Amazing staff members,Amazing hotels
Great hotel, great food and lovely staff with a breathtaking beach. 100% would stay here again and loving the Jamaican life. Highly recommend the steaks house and West Indies cuisine and the Michael Jackson show was great. The Buffet has a variety of tasty foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Amazing hotel we will return!
Last minute trip and since we love the royalatin service in Dominican republic we gave Jamaica a try.
Barry our pool bar server was 5* alone the Jamaican people are so outstanding. Barry only 19 never lost energy and that smile. U know this if u stayed recently. The water on the beach was smoother than the Dominican and easy to enter. The food was great and we always go diamond club so our butlers we're Daniel and Jr. And met all of our few needs. The vibe team especially Keshawn was so good to all of us. Entertaining was their job and they did..much the same as in Dominican. I like that it's all the same uniforms and seems so familiar on both locations. Thanks Royalatin Tony and Mary
Not 5 star
Firstly this not a 5 star hotel its a 4 star at the most. Booking in was very easy no problems there but when we went to our room the keys did not work so had to go back down and get them activated again. The rooms are small and not really enough room to put all your clothing had to leave some in the suitcase other than that it was very clean the shower was one minute hot and next minute cold. The grounds are kept exceptionally well maintained and everywhere kept very clean. The main restaurant is kept very clean by all the staff including quwayne he was very helpful. The food was excellent and plenty of choice for every one always open for breakfast and lunch but was only open on 3 evenings a week there is no notification of this until you turn up and its closed as the rest of the evening's it was buffet style were everbody was just diving in pushing and shoving which is not what we expected. Fortunately there are other restaurants available but you had to search for which one was open to get a meal as some just shut down and had wedding receptions in so closed for everyone else. The best restaurant which was the only one you could actually book is the Japanese one called the zen the staff are fantastic. There are actually 7 restaurants the stake house is also very good but unfortunately you cannot actually book them so sometimes are so busy that you have to wait up an hour to a hour and a half. The pool areas are really clean and we were well looked after by Denton i have a problem with walking so Denton sorted a chair for me to be comfortable around the pool. Ieisha and Tisher sorted our drinks for us they were excellent. The beach is small but well looked after Tyrone. The jerk hut was very hit and miss as somedays we had to wait for at least 45 minutes but was tasty when you got it. The coffee shop has some fantastic staff. The lobby bar was very slow he did not look as though he even wanted to serve anyone. Also had a problem with our safe was told to go straight to the room and someone would be there to sort it but unfortunately we had to wait for 3 hours before anyone came after several phone calls. All in all we did enjoy our holiday but just not what we expected from a 5 star hotel.
Fantastic hotel, great food and great service especially the butlers Jamal and Julio, Akeem on the beach, Wilford, Levaugn, Wayne and Leo looking after us by the pool in the Cabanna Would recommend this hotel to anyone We will definitely be coming back xx
Honest review-must read
The good- the staff made it enjoyable. Special shoutouts to - Kamal the Butler, excellent service! I wish people were more like you, thank you for all you did for us while we stayed there. Berry, sports bar waiter, you made everyday enjoyable. We appreciate you. Best waiter, very fun, great conversations! From the VibeTeam Jamau AKA Ja Blizz, Dayron AKA Bruno, Tashawna, Micheal, & DaShay, thank you guys for being amazing. You guys made the pool fun everyday! JAMAU THANK YOU FOR THE BEEF PATTIES MON!’ The bad - My boyfriend and I, ages 20-23, came to this resort expecting to enjoy ourselves. Once we arrived, we come to realize we had paid for a room that we did not receive because we weren’t “diamond club members”. We asked for an upgrade, (willing to pay) they said no, there wasn’t any rooms available but the resort was completely EMPTY the entire 10 days we stayed. We were celebrating our anniversary and they said our room was supposed to be decorated but it NEVER was. Restaurants are “first come first serve” if not there’s a waitlist; and you may or may not get to eat there depending on how many DIAMOND MEMBERS want to eat there as well. If diamond members show up while you’ve waited 1 hour they will eat before you only because they’re treated better. There is 1 restaurant called ZEN, it is by reservation only. And you can only make a reservation the day of, by 8am-1pm but it’s always booked for the diamond club members anyways. So don’t waste your time. If you are at the pool all day or beach, depending on who’s working at the sports bar located by the pool; you won’t be able to eat there, if you’re wet. Which is dumb because it isn’t a restaurant it’s a sports bar. I would say, 2 stars is well deserved.
