    3rd day amazing so far

This is our 3rd day here and we are having an amazing time! The entertainment staff -Sammy Ana, Fernando and Dafine works hard every day and there are so many things to do for the young and old. Yesterday was the foam party, they had a silent party the day before. The pool staff and servers are incredible as well-Omar is one of my favourites. Looking forward to the days ahead!!

    Royal Solaris Cancun

The resort has a friendly staff and decent accommodations that are somewhat dated and in need of updating, the beds are hard which seems to be the style of some of the older Cancun hotels, most of which have gone away from the over firm beds. The hotel does not offer room service as part of the all inclusive and also does not offer money exchange services. Non members receive non premium drinks served in 8 oz plastic cups. I'm a tequila drinker and the best they had to offer was Jimador a very cheap although 100% agave tequila, when I asked for something better I was told I could not have it based on my bracelet color. The lobby bar ran out of Jimador tequila and the bartender made no effort or offer to have someone get a replacement bottle but instead only offered the cheap blended tequilas as an alternative. Water bottles are provided in the in room mini fridge which is refilled upon request, but if you request water anywhere in the hotel you get a cup not a bottle. The breakfast buffet is not bad, if you want bacon you have to request it from the lady making eggs at the grill. The buffet was usually crowded but you could get your food in a reasonable amount of time. The dinner buffet was a different theme each night and not bad at all. Nightly shows were entertaining and fun. Most rooms have no balconies and the room windows are covered in salt spray, I paid for an ocean view room which we received but viewed through dirty windows. Basically you get what you paid for with this hotel and nothing more. Will not be returning.
