LOVED this resort! So much that my husband and I are considering a ‘timeshare’ there. Have been to Mexico 3 times, this was our favorite. The location is perfect because it’s right along the strip and the bus takes you to and from where you need to go. Everything is easily accessible. And that goes along with the resort as well, you walk out of the hotel and there’s the pools, and super easy access to the beach. Food was amazing. Different themed food each night. They also have a wonderful fancier Italian restaurant that was a nice little reminder of home 😁 Staff is very friendly. We made SO many friends! I was there with my husband and children. Tons of kids activities. Many nightly shows that are good for both adults and kids. Fun games near the pool daily with the staff. This is how we became good friends with the staff. Samantha and my family really hit it off. She made us feel so welcome and with her along side her coworkers, she made it look so easy to have fun at her job. ☺️ Wish I could have put her in my pocket to bring home haha. I truly will miss the friends we made that week and Samantha and the crew. We also became close with Carlos, shout out to him in RCI to show us where the fun was as well. He was awesome. They just know how to make a stay at a resort great and kicked it up a notch. I highly recommend this resort and will hopefully be visiting again in the years to come.
Marco Polo server Manuel
Manuel is amazing! He goes above and beyond every time we visit Cancun. He remembers our names, our favorite drinks and goes out of his way to make our annual trip perfect! Ask for Manuel every time you eat at Marco Polo and you will never leave disappointed!!
First time in Cancun MX! We booked all inclusive hotel and this was an amazing experienced! Our room was very clean and with a beautiful view to the beach. The employees was very attentive and very nice. Looking forward to come back!
Fitness instructor (George) is an excellent addition to staff
My husband and I have vacationed at Royal Solaris many times and have found the staff very friendly and helpful. We were so pleased to find this time that they now have an actual fitness instructor. George offers a variety of classes including yoga, Pilates, water aerobics and other fitness classes. His classes are the quality that you would find in a health club or gym and tailored to the level of those who attend. His knowledge, enthusiasm and encouragement make the classes so enjoyable and yet effective and challenging. There are levels to meet everyone’s needs and he gives personal attention to each student. We truly enjoyed the classes and we look forward to attending again the next time we are at Royal Solaris. The only suggestion that I have is to expand the area on the beach that is used for the classes and to provide a cover of some sort to make the area more shaded. Also, a list of classes should be provided in the activities brochure or at check in.
One of the worst resorts I’ve stayed. Avoid with family
Resort isn’t easy at all to navigate, especially if you have strollers getting around the pool area is very tough, we had to lift strollers to get around. Also we got here where when there was a lot of renovations in the resort, they should’ve told us this ahead of time. The buffet was cut in half and it was very hot In there. I’d avoid this resort if I came with family. Food was ok, I’ve seen much more varieties in other resorts. My room keys weren’t working, had to go change them twice. Elevators were too small, had to take two different times cause we have two babies and two strollers. Staff was very polite and helpful, except the front desk. Juve from the pool bar was exceptional, thank you Juve.
