I wanted to share my recent experience at the Royal Lahaina Resort. The improvements made under the new management are truly impressive. Both the resort and the restaurant have enhanced their offerings significantly. I must commend the staff – they were incredibly kind and personable, making our stay all the more enjoyable. Our room was a king oceanfront bungalow, and the location was simply perfect. We had a fantastic time enjoying the beautiful views and the comfort it provided .

Jan 13, 2025Fleas and bed bugs, avoid at all costs!
Booked 3 rooms here for my family to celebrate my son's birthday. Two rooms were quite lovely (the bungalows), but one room (in the tower) was infested with fleas and bed bugs. My family is totally scarred from this hotel, they couldn't even stay here and had to go to another place. We even talked to the front desk to complain and they basically just said no one has stayed in the room in a while and just offered to change the sheets. Don't think they understand the concept of bed bugs and how you get rid of them. Definitely would never stay at this hotel again. Poor customer service and such filthy rooms. Will report to the health department. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Tired Rooms and very unhelpful staff
Super crummy experience all the way from the arrival (computers down) told we could get an upgrade but since computers down no way to look. Keys didn't work when we finally got our room. Room was damaged. Given no beach towel cards. Bathtub drain didn't work. So stood in a tub of gray way. When I went to get towels they didn't have any. When I went back to retrieve clothes after we moved rooms after much going back and forth to an inferior room the next day got harassed by a security person and even the next day the hotel tub hadn't been drained when I went to get my shampoo. Went back to my room and went to the wrong room and my key opened someone else's room didn't realize it until i walked in and didn't recognize any of the clothing. When we talked to the front desk about these issues nothing was offered even the room upgrade that we were told we were entitled too. Told the hotel was sold out which was a complete lie since there were over 20 empty rooms that we could count. Abysmal experience your staff should be nicer to guest and more helpful. Only nice thing was the pool and the views.

Comfortable and Delicious
The rooms were chic and very comfortable. I love the new decor having just finished their renovations. We rented Cabanas and celebrated my sons first birthday. Very comfortable and they had no problem with our guests meeting us and occupying the area. Also the food and drinks amazing! Thank you To Mate & Eli and to the rest of the amazing staff.

A perfect place for some R&R
First time in Maui and we made the right choice. We stayed in the bungalows facing the golf course. Everyone from Lahaina noon, their restaurant to the luau was absolutely world class. The luau was authentic and everyone we encountered met us with the warmest of smiles. Will definitely be back
