Royal Decameron Montego Beach guestrooms all feature ocean views, most from private balconies or terraces. Rooms are decorated in a clean, tropical style and contain a fully equipped bathroom, television, air-conditioning, iron with ironing board, hair dryer, and telephone.
The two restaurants offered at Royal Decameron Montego Beach range from traditional International dishes to more exotic flavors. PassaPassa Restaurant is located in the hotel lobby. Babba Roots offers a relaxing lounge atmosphere for evening cocktails. Souk Restaurant is an a la carte restaurant serving Jamaican specialties with a fusion twist. At the Zion Bar, guests can enjoy all of their tropical favorites. The Pool Bar can be found on the boardwalk between the two pools and offers a fun atmosphere and a great place to take in some sun and look at the spectacular Caribbean Sea.
During the day, you can partake in different recreational activities including dance lessons, aerobics, and non-motorized watersports like kayaks, sailboats, and diving lessons in the pool. In the evenings, enjoy the shows and dance the night away at the disco.

Overall Good Service
My stay didn't start out that good but the managers did attempt to correct the problems Brittany and Andrea as well as seantae in the dining area were all nice the resort overall was beautiful and I would definitely come back I would rate it a 4 out of 5
Basic, Gets the job done
All rooms have an oceanview which is a nice plus, the staff is friendly. Not a lot of options for those with food allergies. Food is alright. It has a beautiful beach! Great location near the hop strip and other major tourist spots.
Awesome Get Away!
I'm a little late to this review. I went to Jamaica for my birthday (September 17th). For anyone worried about the weather during hurricane season, there were hot sunny days with very very light showers. SO, the hotel. It is beautiful with the whole hotel open (no front for or back door). The hotel is guarded by a gate so you are completely safe. It is very VERY moist everywhere. If you leave your window or balcony door open, prepare for the room to fog up. The sheets are a little moist too. It feels like you didn't let your sheets completely dry in the dryer. I get hot very easily so it took me a minute to cool down and relax. Literally have to stay still. The average visitor is over the age of 40 and usually in couples or friend groups. Me and my friend are 25 and felt like we stuck out. The property is very quiet so if you're young trying to shake ass all day, this isn't the hotel for you. There is music at the open bar next to the pool but honestly this hotel is meant for hardcore relaxing. Me and my friend are introverts so we were 100% cool with the vibes. There are water sports offered right on the beach. If you're bold I encourage you to try the illegal jet skis. They will ride you all the way to the airport and back. The food was great! You have a mixture of Jamaican food and American/english food. The drinks were strong! (DRINK YOUR WATER). A weird note to add. Jamaica time zone is an hour behind eastern time but physically in the eastern time zone so the sun rose at 5am!! Felt like I was awake forever!!! They only real note I would give is to young women traveling alone or with friends is don't let the local young men working at the resort sweet talk you. Don't even entertain them. I don't know if it is an act or what but they were very attached and clingy for attention. They are completely harmless but they get strange attitudes when rejected. Get your drinks and go.
We Enjoy Ourselves.
After looking at so many different hotels we choose Royal Decameron for our honeymoon, our room presentation was phenomenal and we owe it all to Tone-Ann Williamson. Con: Food was great but not enough Jamaican cuisine for breakfast. Pro: Staff, entertainment and more. Dr. Coates
Last Minute Getaway
Hey Travelers, Last minute my family and I decided to go to Jamaica. However, the resort was beyond outdated. The A/C was on the wall and did not keep the room cool. During the course of the day the lights jumped off and on. It was only one restaurant on the resort which supposedly open two days of the week. The snack bar seemed to always have just burgers not much of a variety. And the front desk crew appeared to be lost when it came to giving guest the correct information. As far as the cleaning of the resort and rooms was fair. The resort had two sides old and new. Granted guest was able to use both sides but the guest on the older side had restrictions. Like no use of there restaurants and bar areas, but guest from the luxury side could use everything. Maybe that's the business aspect of the resort I did not quite understand. For future travelers if you looking for a place to eat, sleep and tour Jamaica without all the luxuries of a resort this will be a great place to stay. Also, WIFI is only accessible for 24 hours then its $20 day after. Plus outside of the resort there are prostitutes and homeless people right across from it. Greatly, the resort has 24 hours security on hand. Hopefully this helps someone.
