50th Birthday party
2nd time at this resort. Had a great time. Food sun and fun. Entertainment team was great. Special thanks to Caramelo. She was great and made me laugh every day. Highly recommended this resort. We will come back soon.
The best experience ever!
We came last year in September and came back this year in November. The entertainment team was excellent special Caramelo! She has an amazing energy and so funny, always willing to help and have a great time.
Enjoyed it so much I went back again and it didn't disappoint
I've been to around 15 different adult only all inclusive resorts and I usually try to find different ones to go to but I had such a great time a year ago that I decided to go back after last spring trying somewhere different and was disappoitned. I knew Riu Republica was a lot of fun that I had to go back. From the minute I was greeted at the front desk, they right away knew I was there a year ago and even the room number. They put me in a different room and actually had it decorated for me returning. Last year I had met some great people and one I remained friendly with so he also decided to return. We even ran into a group from Canada again that was there exactly the year before. The size of the resort is great being so large. Althoguh with all tne negative publicity Punta Cana received during this past year, the resort wasn't at capacity so one of the pools was closed. When I was at Republic a year ago, one staff member really stood out to me. I didn't see him the first 2 days, then on the 3rd day as we were walking out of the Steak restaurant and passing thru the buffet dining area, he saw me and right away stopped me.. he remembered me and the exact drink I liked. The following night we decided to eat at his station. I was glad to hear he was promoted. Roberto has an amazing personality and really cares to please the guests. If anybody goes to the main buffet and eat outside.. ask for Roberto, you won't be disappointed. Last year there was a foam party on the resort grounds but this year at first was disappointed to hear the party was at another Rui and called the Pink Party. They provided bus transportation and everything was all inclusive. I was pleasantly surpristed how much fun the party was. It was actually a nice getaway for 4 hours to visit one of the other properties and have fun with their guests. By the large pool near the beach, there is a large bar, half in the pool and half out. One of the servers who wasn't wearing a name tag.. everybody thought looked like Carlton from Fresh Prince of Bel Aire. When my friench Chris called him Carlton he actually started to do the Carlton dance... was classic. Sunday night was our last night and was happy to see Republica still did the beach party at night. Again... another great vacation at Riu Republica. I can't say enough about the grounds, the beach is amazing and clean and the staff. Anybody that complains about this resort just doesn't know how to have a great time. There is something for everybody.
Too expensif for what you get! Whorst vacation if m'y life!
The picture looks better then once you get there. Low cost champagne and wines, staffs unfrendly and slow not professional. Horrible food. Nightlife sucks! Bathroom not clean, jacuzzy dirty. Noisy place. Room service very very slow. I don't recommandé you RIU, such a loose of time and Money!!!
Great food and amenities even compared to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana which recently visited! There was such a great selection of seafood! We had a great view. It did rain some days but that happens!
