Everything was the way I expected it to be from the transport to the hotel, the front desk to the room, the dining areas, the beach, the entertainment, the BAR. It was awesome.

Unexpected Delight, A Heartfelt Thank You for an Unforgettable Stay exceeding all our expectations
What an absolute delight and surprise our stay at RIU Playa Blanca resort turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredible team—from the attentive Reception Advisors to the kind and hardworking cleaning staff. Everyone we encountered was genuinely polite, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile, making us feel truly at home. The resort itself was immaculate, with beautifully designed modern rooms, a breathtaking ocean view, and crystal-clear waters. One of the most mesmerizing highlights was the sand—so unique compared to the typical Caribbean beaches. In certain spots, it shimmered like black diamonds under the sun, soft to the touch, and almost magical in appearance. Entertainment was vibrant and engaging, with music, bars, kids' playgrounds, and all the amenities one could wish for in a perfect getaway. The views from the main bar on the reception level were simply stunning—an ideal place to unwind and soak in this beauty.. Before our visit, we had read some mixed reviews, but our personal experience was nothing short of outstanding. We were genuinely impressed by the team's dedication to upholding the highest standards and the authentic spirit of RIU hospitality. A special thank you to Adonai, Jason T. and Rene, the amazing Reception Advisors, who made our stay extra special. And our deepest gratitude goes to every member of the team—from the restaurants, cleaning crews, bar staff, entertainment team, and sports crew. Relaxing trip in the sun
Really enjoyed our trip to Panama, Playa Blanca. Beautiful beach, you can walk for a few kilometres, ocean is great, saw a few jellyfish. Our room was a little humid and the air conditioning would not go down beyond 23 degree's, but still comfortable.

Great stay in Playa Blanca
We had a great trip to RIU Playa Blanca. Ocean front pool bar side. Amenities and staff were fabulous. House keeping did a great job and entertained us with daily towel animals. Food was good, not great, we really enjoyed the "Panamanian" cuisine in the buffet restaurant.

Amazing Resort
Amazing Rui Playa Blanca Panama. Food was great. Beautiful grounds, pool area, beach area. Very clean. Staff worked tirelessly keeping everything clean in public area's and rooms. The buffet was amazing. So much selection of food & drinks. Gardeners did amazing job with landscaping. Entertainment was also excellent.
