Beautiful Resort. Delicious food. Great service. What more can I ask for. LOL. Well maybe longer vacation next time. Close to the Marina. Beautiful turquoise beach your allowed in the other 4 Riu resorts free.
Good, Fun family time
Our family, 30 persons, had a family reunion at Hotel Riu Palace Peninsula to celebrate our parents' 60th anniversary. It was a good, fun time. Hotel was clean, with friendly staff. Food was good, many choices, although mostly American. Only one little problem was the front desk. It took more than 30 minutes to check us in. Must be a new guy at front desk, but his supervisor did not provide much help. Overall, it was a good hotel.
A little over rated
Stayed at This location from 8-1st to 8-7th. PROS: Rooms are clean and a good size ,higher rooms have a better view and the service is absolutely great.Average food at different restaurants and the food was good apart from the Japanese one that was not edible and we left in the middle of the meal.the staff at any one of the restaurants/pools ETC were great the grounds are clean and well maintained ,pools are hot after 12 pm but I guess there is nothing they can do about that Cons: The showers were terrible despite the hotel staff trying to fix it ,it turns extremely hot and then cold making it impossible to take a shower.we had two rooms and both had the same issue. we were also told that we can eat at any Riu in Cancun but that was not the case as we tried another palace hotel and they denied service to us and basically we wasted our time and money getting there and get disappointed. Overall not a five star hotel comparing it with other RIU or even Fiesta Americana If you are looking for a five star hotel try a different one
Excellent hotel, great food and outstanding service,Maday and Adriana provided us with excellent service every day for breakfast. with beautiful beach around the hotel it's like having a private beach we loved it, easy to go to plaza caracol and la isla and planning to come back next year,
Tried a different resort this time, 1st time in Riu
It was a last-minute plan to visit Cancun with family. The resort was great but there were some restrictions for little things. The views and room were great. The beach was beautiful too. The staff was extremely nice and helpful in every way. Always smiling and willing to help in every way. Overall a great experience.
